Because they are God and Goddess, and we regularly invoke them in our circles.
Is there any reason for gods and goddesses to be exactly the same in appearance as humans?
Consider for example Jahweh's forbidding of depictions of himself. Was he concealing his appearance?
YHVH is kind of an arsehole.
They say Japan was made by a sword. They say the old gods dipped a coral blade into the ocean, and when they pulled it out four perfect drops fell back into the sea, and those drops became the islands of Japan. I say, Japan was made by a handful of brave men. Warriors, willing to give their lives for what seems to have become a forgotten word: honor. -The Last Samurai
Quite so. Was he, for example, similar in appearance to the serpent that told the truth in the Garden of Eden?
"God is he, having a hawk's head; having a spiral force..."
It is true that the serpent told the truth to Adam; he said 'you will not die but will have your eyes opened..."and that's exactly what did happen.
However truth is also relative, and the importance of degrees of relativity is a rather recent concept, at least it is to masculine-oriented thought. To feminine-oriented thought relativity is a given; we women experience it in the most visceral way possible and I really mean that what it means to be"'related to someone" .
The visceral powers come under the rulership of Pluto, the so-called "female expression of Mars" coming under the rulership of Scorpio ("the Eagle's Claw) thus to understand the true significance of sex one must first understand gender and the rudiments of one's own physiology; this is part of "Know thyself".
Freemasonry as the ancient worship of Osiris was revived by the mysterious Sufi master Dhul-Nun, "the Lord of the Fishes" in the eighth century. So sayeth Idries Shah, twentieth -century Sufi Master in his book "The Sufis", a book that I heartily recommend to all MMs.
It is a fact that women are derogatorily referred to as "fish"among homosexuals. The fish was the creature customarily eaten on the day routinely ascribed to Venus, and Venus is the planet which has its "exaltation in the Sign of the Fish, Pisces.

Truth is never relative. Understanding of truth does seem to come in different shades though. Being wrong or right does not alter truth. It is an absolute state.
