those links didnt help me answer the question; "similarly to what?"

In the same way that Hodson penetrated the outer form of Ngauruhoe to perceive the inner structure it is possible to penetrate the paintings of Turner to find the inner structure being accessed.

"penetrated the outer form to perceive the inner structure" and how would we go about that?

>"penetrated the outer form to perceive the inner structure"
and how would we go about that?
Generally this is first practiced while meditating.
Later it is possible to connect consciously to the inner planes while engaged in ordinary activities.

would my first set of observations qualify as having penetrated the outer form?

They are useful observations of the logic of the symbolism. It is useful to go further using the human energy system to experience the energies veiled by the form.
The human form being an Adam Kadmon type body can be used to resonate with a wide variety of entities and energy systems.

"go further using the human energy system to experience the energies" what kind of energies? r we talking emotions here?
Post by paul on Aug 4, 2013 10:32:32 GMT 9.5
Emotions are but one application of a particular part of the spectrum of energies. Do you think that it might be time for some experiential investigation? Try some meditation. And if you are really keen it is most useful to learn to dowse.

Anyone notice that the eye is in the middle of the image ... Minds Eye . minds eye. Imagination.

"experiential investigation" the only "energies" im aware of r qi and emotions. (though i suppose the latter r technically a state of mind) "Anyone notice that the eye is in the middle of the image" it is slightly above the middle (in this format anyway).

I doubt that supposition will assist your progress.
Still if you are conscious of chi flows interacting with your body then you have made a good start.

Sorry, I meant mid way between the foreground and the background.

u mean as if there r clouds behind it? "chi flows" so is it anything like that? knowing what ur looking for makes finding what u want a lot easier.
Post by paul on Aug 5, 2013 7:55:55 GMT 9.5
Chi flows are a denser manifestation of the principle. You can use Turner's painting as a portal. Step into the image. What happens?
Post by mgc on Aug 5, 2013 9:05:15 GMT 9.5
how much denser, and how do u distinguish between them?
Post by paul on Aug 5, 2013 9:30:54 GMT 9.5
>how much denser, and how do u distinguish between them? There is a spectrum from Spirit to Matter. If the spectrum is divided into 7 octaves then the Chi as used by most practitioners is towards the top of the lowest octave. I distinguish them experientially and observationally. How are you going with the meditation exercises? Meditation is the entry to direct experience.
Post by mgc on Aug 5, 2013 9:52:40 GMT 9.5
what would a higher octave feel like?
Post by paul on Aug 5, 2013 9:57:48 GMT 9.5
It feels higher in the various energy bodies of the human. How are you going with meditation. That is the perfect way to start experiencing the different layers of spirit.
Post by mgc on Aug 5, 2013 10:14:07 GMT 9.5
i still dont know what im looking for. how about u tell me what a pulse of qi feels like to u.
Post by paul on Aug 5, 2013 10:22:42 GMT 9.5
>i still dont know what im looking for. I know that. The first precondition is refining your energy bodies so that you can use them to observe the subtle layers of Existence. If you do not want to meditate then you can learn dowsing.
