I recall reading in the Hindu tradition that there are 64 billion (human) souls in existence.
I also recall reading that the door from the animal kingdom to the human kingdom is currently closed.
So, last night instead of paying attention to the Virgo full moon meditation I sat there trying to discover how human souls are created, by whom, how and when.
So is it true that all the human souls were created long ago? If so, when might we run out?
If terrestrial humans are only one branch of the human race we might have already run out.
Blavatsky told us that on any street corner we could see humans without souls. Is that why?
Do I have a soul?
How would I know? What tests can I make?
What should I do if I do not have a soul?
Do non-humans have souls? I hope so, or we might be in trouble when they get here. But do non-humans have the same model of soul?
How many models might there be?
Are all types of soul good?
Do we even know what "good" means?
Then I had supper and came home.

I've read in the past that there's some debate about human souls and whether or not they really exist, and whether they really are what we think they are.

I see the human soul as a rectangular container, a double cube. I believe it can be built. I think it holds the light of God, but I don't know. I know these are not unusual statements, but this is what I've seen.

In Freemasonry "the lodge is said to assume the form of a double cube" www.freemasons-freemasonry.com/don24.html but the true reason for this is not given. >. I think it holds the light of Thus we distinguish the form (body) of the soul from what it may contain.

If there are 64 billion souls in existence I think that figure must include people in incarnation and people out of incarnation.

Quite so. But does the figure only relate to terrestrial humans? According to many native peoples, our ancestors came from various star systems, particularly the Pleiades.

For Clarity is this the wording u desired to xpress > I know these are not unusual statements I meant that I felt that what I was posting would be known already by members on this forum. What did you read from those words?

I know these are not unusual statements, but this is what I've seen. I was attempting to make sure i was correctly processing ur intent And not compounding on top of a non intended expression As tom jones expressed things not unusual ... And is sort of reverse polish notative speech As some with English usage say a double negative makes a positive I see, I like the way you wrote it better. and "these are not unusual statements" has more meaning in the context than I had expected. Thanks.

Specificity of Language Please! "Soul" is a word. How do you intend to define this word? Without a definition I have no idea what you are talking about.

Specificity of Language Please! "Soul" is a word. How do you intend to define this word? Without a definition I have no idea what you are talking about. A good question. In mainstream Christianity the earlier classification of body, soul and spirit was reduced to just body and soul. This made the soul seem rather far away, and easily lost. In the kabbalah the ascending non-physical components of the human are Nefesh, Ruach, Neschamah, Chaya and Yechida. In ancient Egypt there were also 5 non-physical parts to the human: the Ren, the Ba, the Ka, the Sheut, and the Ib. I prefer to think in terms of planes and subplanes - being more convenient for analysis and action. Thus I think of the soul body as being formed from the higher mental subplanes: 5.3, 5.2 and 5.1. More details here: a406.proboards.com/thread/973/21-steps-enlightenmentThis view corresponds to Neschamah and probably to the Ka. Despite the technicalities, humans commonly diagnose situations and people as soulful or soulless, so there is some instinctive usage of the term.

H P Blavatsky ~~~ said arguing with an ¿single? angry person could cost a person their soul investment and make death, preferable to life. from Isis unveiled In My Opinion it is not the knowledge or lack of Knowledge quantity or quality As much as it is how we feel about the knowledge and how we approach its useage Unless i am mistaken we all seem to have some ability to learn from our mistakes it could be said this is how one knows they got a human soul.... the awareness of acknowledging truth ...not lieing to oneself by taking responsibility for everything that has perceived effect ..easier said then done...especially when one has a emotional investment we all have arguments be it with parents siblings significant others strangers this can in turn make death preferable to life especially in sexual partnerships where children are formed ...imo the human soul does not feel threw the ego or senses..but works on a different process... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soul_music ....this is also another instinctual method soul expression www.metrolyrics.com/soul-to-soul-lyrics-temptations.html

So are recognising what is true, and love of (soul) music are signs of existence of a soul?
I think that those are quite difficult tests:
- for a long time I believed what I was taught was true - music is an adjective not a noun - thus Wagner distinguished a music performance from a tonal performance.
I suspect that the soul-less human could not apply those tests at all well.

music can be a instinctual interpretation of the soul ... soul music being a genre it self...the human voice when used as a instrument for example is a unique form of soul expression...
- for a long time I believed what I was taught was true...
i see it as real truth cant be brought or taught on a inner perspective..

>i see it as real truth cant be brought or taught on a inner perspective.. Is it worth pointing out that truth is reification - a quality is turned into an object? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reification_%28fallacy%29Thus we might always ask: true to what/whom? Some brethren wish to be true to their Grand Lodge. Others wish to be true to the GAOTU

>i see it as real truth cant be brought or taught on a inner perspective.. Thus we might always ask: true to what/whom? Some brethren wish to be true to their Grand Lodge. Others wish to be true to the GAOTU Well on a material level nothing is absolute truth... water is wet.. but it also becomes solid or gaseous ..i would consider those facts...where as truth is a process learned specific to each individual..on a more extra sensory based level imo...it seems now everytime a full moon is around the corner... i get lessons in my sleep very vivid dreams about my inner workings about my own darkness... and these i can say guide me towards the truth.. for man to know thyself he has to build upon a honest foundation.... can it be said that all humans have a human soul...but they may be controlled by a animal mind?? I try to dumb down some of my post... for i know others are on there path ....so please understand if im not so specific...

>how does a non-human soul differ, how did you know it was a non-human soul?
There are perhaps 2 questions:
- do all humans have souls? - do all souls attached to humans as the primary soul have the same basic structure or prototype?
In the first case, the answer seems pretty clear in my observation: not all humans have souls
The second case I included on the principle that I had not observed human souls closely enough to produce a taxonomy.
And when I think about it, I did see an alien humanoid in a shopping centre, close enough to touch, so I will have a closer look at him to see what I can see.
And looking at him now he has all the 7 chakras in place but is rather flat in the heart, throat and crown as is common for humans.
There is an external intelligence attached to his lower mental subplanes but I am struggling to find an intelligence attached to his higher mental subplanes. So if I saw him again I would look closely to see if he were soulless.
So that does not help this question. So I will look at some humans that are actually nature spirits passing through the human kingdom to learn will.
And looking at several, there is no obvious difference in soul structure, but I will keep an eye out for other soul structures & associated intelligences.
It is perhaps worth noting that the genuine MM having established internal control of the mental plane and hence the soul body, increasingly does not need the soul body as an intermediary with Spirit and progressively the soul body is dispersed and discarded. Eventually the true initiate radiates Spirit directly, thus: When you have seen me, you have seen the Father for He lives in me and I in Him.

Very worth noting, I felt relief when I read that, I don't know why. Something I'll be investigating further, thanks!

Would you draw any parallels with the Chymical Wedding fox?
