> Being the proper shape for a Masonic temple. Why? Yes, but I am trying to see if an inclined plane has any meaning in this. It feels more like an exercise to follow the idea through.
My original comparison was along these lines three rods

I rather think that when the 4 lodges broke away to form a new Grand Lodge that they lost contact with the hidden sources of Freemasonry - although they were informed about the 3rd degree around 1725.
Much of our current ritual has been edited by those who did not have the genuine secrets and I do not know that their intent was of much use.

I have not seen an inclined plane in any of my inner wanderings.

The 47th proposition is asserted to be the foundation of "sacred, civil and military" Masonry. The civil and military are obvious but the sacred is less so and while the triangle can be drawn with The Widow, Asar and Hor, I am not certain that that is the limit of the sacred nature.
> I have not seen an inclined plane in any of my inner wanderings. This is something now that I think of it that I have seen, but had not given much value to. I still am not sure if it has merit in this vase (case - typo) though.
One example was the floor of a square rectangle room at an incline, with outflow of water, a sort of inverse to a water spring.
