Re: Is there no will in Ain Soph Aur?
That, my friend, is above my pay grade. I never took the tree literally and have viewed the abyss as that space between duality and non duality, with the supernal triangle being beyond my conceptual capacity. The Apsu thing is interesting.

The impulse for love, in this solar system comes directly from the Solar Logos who, it appears, is now using his second solar system as a body of incarnation - the first having ceased to exist. It is said that his first incarnation (in this system) was to learn intelligence and that his current incarnation is to learn love.
Thus any actions by humans that are done without love actually retard the development of the solar logos. It is better to be ineffective but loving than effective and loveless.
Right relationship is the key to supporting the solar logos

I am not sure that the concepts of duality and non-duality exist outside the human experience.
If there is a spectrum from Spirit to Matter, what is duality?

Re: If there is a spectrum from Spirit to Matter, what is duality?
My understanding is that conceptualization can only occur within duality as below the abyss things can only be comprehended in contrast to/relationship with its polarity. Above the abyss there is no perceived separation, or so I am told. Male is female, black is white, life is death and so on. No polarization, no space, no time.

>Male is female, black is white, life is death and so on.
When I look at the Being that uses this set of universes as a body of incarnation, the Being is clearly male - but that is only part facing this way. The Being seems to have another set of universes in which the Being is female.
There seems to be a student exchange program between the male and female sets - some of which we see as avatars.
The nature of cycles and pulsations necessarily generates polarity. If the Cosmos is alive then it must pulsate.

I am not entirely sure He wants praise, and I doubt that He sees himself as absolute.
About 25 years ago (as we experience time) the Solar Logos became much more august as He stepped up in responsibility. This has pulled the solar system along with him and is effecting Earth humans very directly - as can be seen by the great social changes occurring.

What place do we humans play in all of this?

>What place do we humans play in all of this?
It is an interesting question and I have not got to the bottom of it.
Obviously there are 2 streams:
- the nature of the human energy system (e.g. as depicted by the ToL) - the nature of the spirits that incarnate into the human energy system
From reading the alien literature you might easily conclude that many intelligent groups are interested in modifying human systems for their own use. There are various motivations including survival of their species but perhaps the most important is that the current human system is capable of a rather full spectrum of energies and therefore functionality.
The nature of the spirits that rightfully inhabit human systems is more difficulty. HPB refers to spirits refusing human form. This suggests that particular spirits were given tasks that they refused, at least in part because they found the human systems of the time repugnant.
This then suggests that beyond all the alien stuff there are much bigger agendas.
The nearest I have got is that the spirits that rightfully inhabit Earth human systems (but not non-Earth) are placed here for some difficult learnings (skills and expertise acquisition) and as a result there are distinct rules about what spiritual assistance can be given to Earth humans.
And when the spirits using human systems have acquired those skills they may well be placed in even more difficult places to sort those out so that the local Galactic Logos may be released from His karma.
As I type this I weep!

'Is there no will in Ain Soph Aur?'
how can the whirlings begin if not by the existence of a prior, inherent/primal will? at the same time, the fact that qabalists consider chokmah to be the root of fire is somewhat confusing... would that be a different kind of fire?
'Thus any actions by humans that are done without love actually retard the development of the solar logos. It is better to be ineffective but loving than effective and loveless.

could you elaborate on your concept of love and put that into context with the recent discussion we had about the developing of right relationships?

>chokmah to be the root of fire is somewhat confusing... would that be a different kind of fire?
Certainly a much lower frequency.
Personally I prefer to think in terms of planetary, systemic and galactic structure and planes rather than the straight-line ToL.
>elaborate on your concept of love and put that into context with the recent discussion we had about the developing of right relationships?
Love as a human experience is primarily physical and emotional with modest mental activity and these of course are very dense levels of relationship.
It might be better to think in terms of the various Logoi (planetary, systemic, galactic etc) as needing to embrace their bodies of manifestation and driving the various kingdoms within those bodies to integrate and harmonize. There are multiple mechanisms for this in and between the kingdoms.
For example gardening by humans is one of the more important. I recall a comment recently by a friend who said that she found that if she did not love her plants they would not thrive.
Gardening has an interesting collateral effect. Nature spirits take the more chaotic emotional and mental energies from the gardeners and recycle them. Those energies are valued by the nature spirits as the energies have been qualified by human use that makes the energies particularly suitable for use in the light bodies of plants and lesser nature spirits.
There are layers of mechanism in the forming of right relationship

>so that the local Galactic Logos may be released from His karma
If you imagine a human parent coming into a room and half of the children turn their backs, this is reasonable analogy to the difficulties faced by the Galactic Logos.
I recall a significant source commenting that: the hardest thing is to get (Earth) humans to cooperate.
The human difficulty relates more to the planetary context than to human karma. Thus we may come to the proximate cosmic purpose for posting human spirits to this planet. If the local human spirits learn to manage relationships, including inter-specie relationships, under difficult conditions then they may be able to assist the Galactic Logos in Her/His "family" and thereby relieve that part of galactic karma.
(This galaxy, at least locally, is more female than male)

My usual test for someone who wonders if they are a genuine 1st degree initiate is to ask them: - Do you believe that Life has meaning or do you know that Life has meaning? I had a work friend who was getting close to the first initiation. I saw him one day in the street and it was apparent me that he had made that transition so I tried my test question on him. He replied that he did not know that Life had a meaning but had stopped hoping to get something undeserved such as a lottery win. It seemed to me that his giving up on getting undeserved benefits was just another way of saying that Life has meaning. I should note that as humans approach the first initiation they often report wobbling between belief and knowing. Once they are a knower they are a gnostic - by definition - and theo-logical statements and beliefs have much less interest for them. What meaning exists beyond relation? Life only has meaning to the extent we remain differentiated as "semiotically-mediated secondary reflexive consciousness constructs" - have an "I" concept we relate to, and with, other agents or objects to create meanings. Meaning motivates and biases action within constrained contexts and limited ranges of state-dependent actions available to select as "goals". If meaning depends upon language, then DNA represents the fundamental Meaning of Life. 23 + 23 = 46; or 42 + 4 bases ATCG(U). That's 33 in Hebrew gematria, excluding U. Sort of like IH(Sh)VH. What do base pairs do? They bond (form Right Relations), fold into DNA helicies, form chromosomes, make RNA, which makes proteins, cells, tissues, organs, systems, organisms, families, Tribes, planets, and Beyond, ever Twisting, Turning, Spinning the Spiral Dance. Beyond that, the only meaning of Life may be To Grow, to Let Go, and to Begin Again. And Again. Evolve through Ordeals and Support One Another as if Life is 2,3,(5) - Where two of ye gather, a Third will Emerge...

>Life only has meaning to the extent we remain differentiated There are at least two primary spiritual paths: - experiencing Identity as a pure state (this is the path of initiation) - experiencing Identification (this is the mystical path and can be triggered by substances such as LSD) Most humans proceed through initiation (entry to higher levels of existence) thus achieving maximum isolation at the third initiation - being independent of human belief systems and programming. As you will see earlier in this thread, the point of maximum isolation is uncomfortable and eventually our initiate decides to move forward by being willing to be at one with all. Experience of identification with the universe is becoming more common. It changes a human's life profoundly. Mostly however it is a transitory experience and often the result of rips in the etheric body. The path of initiation progressively covers the same ground - taking much longer and requiring the initiate to be functionally useful on the new planes of perception. >the only meaning of Life may be To Grow It may appear that way to the manifested intelligence, but prior to Existence is Beingness. Beingness on occasion manifests Life to develop qualities needed/chosen by Beingness. a406.proboards.com/thread/1531/sphere-beingness

... And when the spirits using human systems have acquired those skills they may well be placed in even more difficult places to sort those out so that the local Galactic Logos may be released from His karma. As I type this I weep! It seems there is movement at galactic levels. For some years I have been troubled by the disconnect between Grail qualities and the more rigid qualities of our Galactic Logos - the more so because the local source of Grail energies is within this galaxy. Anyway over the last weeks it seemed to me that the Galactic Logos had softened somewhat and that Grail energies were now compatible with His energies. Today the Galactic Logos was much closer and larger and softer than before. So I asked Him if He is new to this galaxy and it seems He is. It looks like our former Galactic Logos has been replaced with a more profound entity. I now no longer feel the karmic problem referenced above. It seems a new era is dawning.

Paul
After directing us here, after an initial quick review, the following immediately come to mind:-
1. You do indeed provide a lot of learning opportunities.
2. It was interesting, for me, rereading my posts from 2013.
3. I think that I am beginning to understand you a bit better.
4. With regard to plants, I have found Trees, especially older trees, to be particularly interactive and supportive, though that has gone both ways. I realise that must sound delusional to those who can’t connect with Trees. Sometimes it breaks my heart.
5. As I have noted before Paul, your language differs from mine, which means that I can have to translate your words into words that make sense to me. But, even from an initial quick read here (again given age of thread) your language is making more sense, but I am still quite a bit away from you.
6. With the benefits of hindsight you made a very pertinent, and I think accurate, observation, which has certainly been either a huge hinderance, or a source of enormous growth (depending on how you look at it) in my life, for most of my life.
7. Given your extensive words on initiation, can I ask what you think happened to me in the Great Pyramid, some three decades ago now?
Background for those who don’t know:
I visited Egypt as a tourist. At the time nothing noteworthy happened. Re the Great Pyramid, my girlfriend (now wife) and I entered the Kings Chamber. Once we descended the grand gallery my wife had to get out (she can be claustrophobic) and chose not to visit the other chambers. I was happy to stay outside with her, even though it was a chance of a lifetime to get back in an explore. We were young tourists. Apart from a vague sense of ‘having had done enough’, maybe even, but my memory may be playing tricks on me here ‘ déjà vu, but I am quite content. Didn’t give it another thought.
My interest in all things esoteric then started with a vengeance, and it took me some years to trace it all back to that moment in the kings chamber, when, with the benefit of hindsight to me I was clearly initiated into myself in that chamber. (Since then there have been other physical places that once visiting I catapult forwards, hence part of my desire for global travel).
I am aware others claim to have been initiated in there, but those I know off also claim performing ceremonies, I really was just a tourist doing tourist things.
As a side note my wife is seriously more Assyrian/Sumerian/Babylonian connective than me. I am very much connected with the energies of Ancient Egypt, especially 18th Dynasty. (But with so far unexplained wobbles, which may or may be due to museum classification).
Nowadays I think, for example, and I know this isn’t obviously related to 18th dynasty (to the best of my knowledge), that, given time, freedom, and resources, I could get the Great Pyramid reenergised. But given what happened at the millennium I guess that is politically unacceptable in our world today.

Foxfires
To connect with an animal, tree, and I guess etc, you can either:-
1. Read the animals emotions, they have as many as we do, grief being particularly noticeable.
2. Connect at a heart to heart level.
To do this you…
A. Need a willing animal who is able to connect in the manner, and actually wants to. Those hurdles make practice difficult. B. Connect naturally heart to heart. C. To help with this, make an emotional bridge between you. D. Think over that bridge. I normally find (on the rare occasions that I can do this) that talking out loud helps. E. Once connected work from your heart, through your mind if need be. Just think. F. Two way communication and testing is then very doable. I once did it in front of several witnesses at a zoo with a rather bored snake. It was a beautiful moment. I am used to be phobic of snakes, now I know that they have nostrils. We were face to face touching the glass, it moved in whatever direction I asked. I tried later and iirc it worked a second time. The third time it was asleep/non responsive. A lot of personal growth came from that experience.
With Trees, it has been similar, but more about mutual support and aid when illness struck. I have offered my energy to an old poorly tree (it recovered whether I had anything to do with that is another matter, but I tried), and trees have returned the favour and generally been there for me. When branches etc need chopping or are getting felled I apologise to them.
Paul
Thinking more of your ‘money not needed’ eg re pyramid reenergising (forgetting politics for a moment). Yes I think that I could get it working but I would need (again ignoring political support etc)…
1. The capstone/a capstone fit for purpose. 2. Interior devices, eg crystals. Iirc from reading Sitchin ‘Wars of Gods and Men’ a decade or so ago, they were destroyed to prevent its reenergising. Now I think at least one has survived, but getting hold of that would not be cheap. In the absence of the original crystals you could try with substitute crystals, but there would be a lot of expence in buying all sorts of crystals, and timetesting the energy flows between them. 3. I am not sure yet precisely what other devices are required, but I am confident that a specially engineered oceanographic yacht (like eg Octopus and Pressure Valve combined with more tech and phd types onboard) would help. Though such a yacht would have other uses as well of benefit to mankind and this planet. You don’t want to know how much my back of an envelope calculation for what that would cost and run would be. Needless to say tens of billions. But it could be a wise vestments.
My point, it’s all well and good saying ‘no money required’ and while that is Indeed true in terms of personal growth and some aspects of remote action: to be truly effective in our world today, you have to work within its paradigmes,…money. I just can’t see eg how I could restart the pyramid remotely, without the relevant physical devices present within the structure (and given the events of the millennium (recapping planned then cancelled at last minute) someone clearly does not want that to happen), and I would be suprised if the current Egyptian government would be favourable. Mind you it could make Egypt one of the most powerful if not the most powerful country on this planet again (I am not saying it would, for I don’t know, only that with an operational pyramid it could/might).
Paul do you have any idea how such things could be achieved without serious money? Setting aside whether it’s desireable.

> what you think happened to me in the Great Pyramid...we descended the grand gallery my wife had to get out Here is a photo of the Grand Gallery. Notice the powerful elemental (energy) at the end I suspect that the elemental knew you and came close - hence the reaction by your wife. The elemental sits there awaiting the arrival of humans that it recognizes from the past or from their energy structure. You may well have been involved with the generation of that elemental. If you slide back along the timeline to when your and your wife exited the pyramid, can you visualize a gold cube floating just behind next to the top of your head? The cube, that you then absorbed, seems to have contained planning maps for that pyramid. But when I look at the plans they fold back up and do not want to unfold until 2100. Perhaps you might just hold the plans until you meet someone that you decide should have them. Then intend that same skill cube and project it out of your light body and move it to the chosen successor
