..and it is Omniscient, Omnipotent and Omnipresent ?
Space = aether, chi, prana, etc etc ?
I also heard that the 5 pointed star represents the 4 Elements and the aether that underlies them.
This might explain "not a bird can fall with Me knowing about it".. and the power of prayer or thought in general. Scary when you think about it.

Tsimtsum is defined as withdrawal. God had, so to speak, withdraw so that a space for independent creatures could come into being. In truth, tsimtsum is a basic mechanism of all stations of emanation. At every step of descent, the light must be lessened, for, coming from a higher level, it by definition is something that the lower level cannot perceive.
"All contractions lead to a decrease of the light so that the lower levels can receive it (Eits Chaim, Nekuddim, CH.2)."
What we have here is quite different, not a concept of withdrawal that creates "space", but a filtering, a lessening of light, so that it can "fit" and interact on a lower level of existence. It is concealed enough so that it does not overwhelm or swallow the lower level.

This could also explain why 'Jesus said' "I and my Father are One. Jesus being a container of the stepped down force of God. (In which case we could all be said to be one with the Father... the difference between us and Jesus being merely one of degrees.)

In the Christian context, the Tsimtsum might be called The Revelation of the Word - encompassing both the out-breath into density and the in-breath returning to the Light

>space is not spirit
Perhaps space is one of the low level expressions of spirit - after all spirit searches the depths

space is just space room to move
there r no spirit like qualities to space

... space is just space? I think that all there is is space, that all you are is space, just space in which things apparently happen. Put yourself under a powerful microscope and you will disappear.. broken down into the most most minute particles which are invisible to the human eye. Are you still you, are you still there? Even the apparent air/space around us is full of 'stuff'. Invisible signals that run televisions, radios, telephones, etc etc. 'Space' can be whipped into a frenzy and smash houses to smithereens? How can they tell that the Universe is expanding, the Universe being predominantly space? Forces/energies exist and we cannot see them. Einstein argued that physical objects are not located in space, but rather have a spatial extent. Seen this way, the concept of empty space loses its meaning. Rather, space is an abstraction, based on the relationships between local objects. Nevertheless, the general theory of relativity admits a pervasive gravitational field, which, in Einstein's words[27], may be regarded as an "aether", with properties varying from one location to another. One must take care, though, to not ascribe to it material properties such as velocity and so on.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VacuumForces/energies exist and we cannot see them - are these forces/energies intelligent? We see evolution everywhere so maybe they are. Is God the Generator Of Dimensions? I was thinking about this question for quite some time last night. When I compared the "God is Omniscient Space" idea to the what I could remember of Jesus sayings and Masonic TB's everything fitted.

If 666, the sign of the beast, relates to the 6 proton, 6 electrons and 6 neutrons, what could 555 denote?

perhaps we should distinguish between space and what happens in it..
space without anything happening in it is "nothing" but an abstraction, based on the relationships between local objects, imo..
is a hammer as smart / alive as the carpenter that uses it?
suppose the universe is comparable to a self assembling toolbox.. any of u know pinokkio? or A.I.?
perhaps we should also consider the relation between space and time..

>space without anything happening in it is "nothing" but an abstraction
That rather depends upon whether "things" are the essence of existence. Perhaps things are end results rather than causes
>is a hammer as smart / alive as the carpenter that uses it?
The intelligences are of different function. But generally the carpenter contains more types of intelligence than any tool.
Of course more refined tools such as motor cars can anchor quite sophisticated intelligences. For example, some self-taught mechanics converse with the vehicle to understand what needs to be done and how.
And a close friend's ex-husband fixes oil wells after the professionals give up. He asks the Earth what is wrong and what needs to be done. He does very well.

One could just as easily substitute ourselves for the hammer and Intelligent Space (IS)as the carpenter/tekton/builder/etc
Maybe Intelligent Space needs us hammers and chisels to do the handyman work in perfecting his creation in the physical world.

Imagine the circle as being our little world, the horizontal line as we perceive time passing, and the triangle the extent of our understanding of all the things we see as space (and taking up space). The vertical line would represent the perfection meditation line... when we withdraw ourselves from the perception of both time and space. Interesting that it forms a Tau. With a little imagination one can see how to add more Tau's to the image.. by leaving time out of the equation altogether. I believe you might even come up with the Flower of Life image. Are the Tau's in Freemasonry teaching us to look outside the bounds of Time and Space for answers to eternal questions?

Perhaps time is not a fundamental principle of reality?

Because I take the centre to be a bit 'above' or 'beyond' my ordinary every day consciousness. So I am trying to illustrate the small time line that is my life experience, which is not the centre of everyone elses life experience. The centre vertical line is supposed to illustrate how one can lose one's sense of individual self and surroundings when meditating. The two angled lines which form the triangle are representing the extent of my normal perception of things and when I withdraw attention from these external things the lines draw together on the time line (I am not thinking of today, tomorrow, yesterday). You can substitute the vertical line with an extremely narrow pointed triangle if you wish. I have never managed to completely lose myself to the Unknown. I'm always looking at something out there in the Universe of my Inner Being

My supposition is that time is relative to the consciousness experiencing it. ie when we are in extreme pain we perceive time passing slowly and when we are enraptured time whizzes by without us noticing its passing. There is a saying something along the lines of 'one can measure bliss in seconds, joy in minutes, happiness in days, contentment in years'.

Loved your illustration mgc. One question, does the accumulated knowledge in the post death phase hang around in space?
