When at labor the conscientious Bro approaches his work with great seriousness, attending to detail and to the drama of that degree. After the L. is closed, however, another feeling of almost frivolity may descend on the BB. It's as if the tension of degree work snaps closed with the closing of the L. Suddenly we may express that release with laughter.
Why should this be so? Laughter heals the soul, as it were. It helped me to picture the astral body shimmering with laughter. The junk snagged during the time we are “open” seems to be shaken loose at this time.
If we think of the most ardent Freemasons, we shall probably remember their laughter as well. One of the early MPGCs of the American Federation had a laugh that would shake the dishes off the wall. Other BB may not be so boisterous, but there is a twinkle in the eye, an infectious joy that could be communicated to others.
The benefit of this joy, once experienced, is that we are more sensitive to it and want to experience it again. We may say with complete honesty that attending L. regularly is good for your health.

I have a female friend that, if I put out particular heart energy will get the giggles. I do not do anything physical, other than stand next to her, nor say anything.
It seems to me that several of her chakra beings change mode in that energy, losing inhibition, relaxing and releasing tension.
