Heard on the grapevine that a 'Le Droit Humain' Lodge is being formed in Sydney which will use the Georges Martin Ritual (the Continental one).
The idea seems to be proving popular ... when word got out about its formation, people came out of the blue to join. The Continental ritual is very different to the Lauderdale Ritual which is the one used in Australia.
Might it be something for other states to think about. It will cater well for people who are not so esoterically oriented.
Having two lodges to choose from in each state might actually prove beneficial (in different sorts of ways) to both of them.

I wonder if this Ritual is similar to the one previously used in the U.S., called "The North American Ritual." I've heard that this system is based on the French working, with additions from American Usages. These elements can be identified by a simple censing at the Opening and an unusual treatment of H.A. in the 3Âş after he was l..l.. If any one has time to attend a Raising ceremony of the proposed L., I hope she/he will report back to the forum.
