One of our Brn brought this 'word for the day' to my attention, had to share it with you.
Key word: Choice.
I choose wisely and co-create a world of beauty and peace.
As a mason builds a wall, he carefully chooses the next brick, the one that will fit most precisely, lend the greatest strength to the finished product and contribute to the desired result.
I am the mason on my own life. I choose the building blocks of strength, stability and endurance. Daily, I learn from the Master Builder how to recognise the thoughts, words and actions that create the design I desire.
The choices I make today affect me and those around me. I consider the impact of each choice and trust divine wisdom for direction. As I listen to Spirit within, my decisions become clear. I choose wisely and co-create my world with God and others.
"Like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation....Each builder must choose with care how to build on it". 1 Corinthians 3:10
The people we choose to associate with is one of the most important choices of life. If an eaglet elects to spend all of his time with turkeys, then he will never soar so far or as high as his potential would suggest.
Love goes, where entrepreneurs fear to tread. Love rules ok.
We live with love as if we knew what it was about. But as soon as we try to define it, or at least approach it with concepts, it draws away from us. To love another is to love one's own idea of another. Love, loved for itself, inevitably ends as self-love.
If you can't love yourself, with all your own faults, how can you love others? In understanding yourself and recognising why you are like you are, you are more likely to understand and love others.
Anyway, if we are all children of God who are we to decide we are unworthy of love, from ourselves or anyone else? I sure as heck ain't gonna tell Him He stuffed up ;D
Our birth is but a sleep and a forgetting…trailing clouds of glory do we come from God, who is our home -Wordsworth
