Came across a new anomaly on accident. I was going over some Sumerian tablets and seen a certain similarity with a D.I.A. mural.
They say that this mural depiction is of a Mayan tablet.
This is a Sumerian tablet.
Thoughts anyone?
I think you're reaching.
They say Japan was made by a sword. They say the old gods dipped a coral blade into the ocean, and when they pulled it out four perfect drops fell back into the sea, and those drops became the islands of Japan. I say, Japan was made by a handful of brave men. Warriors, willing to give their lives for what seems to have become a forgotten word: honor. -The Last Samurai
After I found this correlation, I did alot of searching for a Mayan tablet that matched the one depicted in the mural, and found none. The closest thing I found was that Sumerian tablet. I don't think it's that far of a reach.
Now, for the sake of reaching, the correlation of these...
Mirror images. Three peasants, two with they're hands out, "wanting", one with his hand out "giving". One who is "above them" pointing with the left hand. The orb in both pics represent the same thing.
The only real difference is the absence of a godlike presence in the painting, but if you look at the tablet, the "one who is above the peasants" is mimicking the actions of the god-figure, who is separated from all the rest by a barrier....
How's that for reaching?

A scorner seeks wisdom, and finds it not: but knowledge is easy to him that understands. Proverbs 14:6
On the tablet, the man who is "giving" is in front of the two who are taking. In the painting, the man who is "giving" is in front of the two who are taking.
In both, the two "takers" are behind the giver.

Very good job of reaching. You had to do an intensive search to find two images, widely separated in time, that have similar elements. I would like to know exactly what the Sumerian tablet is, in it's original context. What is the source? You fail to give pertinent information. What do Mesopotamian scholars have to say on the image? You know, those guys with real PHDs who went to real universities?

Well, my last post was an effort to reach.... The fruit of coincidence.
I know little about the painting, beyond what I learned on another thread of this forum. I have something of a photographic memory. When I seen the Tablet of Shamash, the painting popped up in my mind.
You can refer to this link for a more professional ("real") explanation of the tablet.
If the intentions of the artist were good I am wondering why so many people react so negatively to the images. It seems that most are repulsed rather than inspired. Guess one just has to be there to see it all for one's self.
I was rather shocked and distressed to see what other youtube videos come up with that one. Horrifying.
No wonder people lose their way so easily in this world.

Returning to Denver here is a video of flying objects over Denver that move too fast for the eye to see but can be seen on slowed down video. The TV channel sent its own photographer out and he got more footage of objects that seem to originate and terminate in suburban Denver
