I rather doubt that the observation is conclusive evidence of that particular theory. Perhaps non-gravitational forces are present.

So what happens when you superimpose the Hunab Ku upon the coloured image?
Does that indicate that the Hunab Ku is a generic structure?

.. visualise your lodge open and try the Hunab Ku in the center of the pavement. It stayed horizontal and then raised itself up above the pavement (and above the G) ?? I actually tried to place it with the black section in the North (which is where I consciously thought it should be) but it kept bouncing back to above the G when I lost focus. It was a real wrestle there for a while

I understand that in some European lodges, the tassels are in the corners of the ceiling. That may be a more correct placement.
Now for the hard bit. Having found the natural orientation of the Hunab Ku, what can we learn about the differences in the rivers/tassels?

Do you find that other people's visualisations work for you?
What deductions might you make?

Hi henka, know where you are coming from. I used to do them not expecting anything, then slowly I started to discover they had a life of their own, me expecting the dark to be in the North was an example, it just didn't happen.
After a few times of the unexpected happening I think I realised there was something to these exercises and that the trick is to 'let go' - don't try to control or make sense of them, just see what happens.
If your next question is 'what use are they' ... I find that if I follow up on unusual things I tend to discover 'lots about lots'.
Right now I am going to search 'rivers & tassels'. I'm still not sure that I am able to appreciate Paul's direct experience, maybe I will in the long run, or maybe what I discover may affect Paul's experience. Anything is possible that is the fun part of it all.

In some contexts there is a group light body (perhaps ephemeral) that is used by members to have heightened sensitivity. All members of the group benefit from all member experiences - perhaps even if the group light body is later dissolved.

Because we are a small group here and are all earnest in our quest for wisdom and understanding, would that make our group light body less ephemeral? Is this why so much emphasis is placed on the individual lodge of freemasons maintaining harmonious relationships? Is this light body the same as the egregore? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EgregoreIs the group light body in an exoteric situation the same sort of energy that performers refer to when they say they 'feed of the energy of the audience?

If you are in a group meditation and the group members intend and visualise a field of energy around the group, that will contribute to the forming of a group light/energy body (GLB). The GLB can be made more coherent by group members all operating upon the same level of consciousness (plane and subplane) at the same time. If members are in harmony the GLB is more likely to be whole and more likely to attract a higher sponsor. (Lower entities may exploit GLBs that contain darkness) The GLB may contribute to the formation of an egregore and be a vehicle for its externalisation. Such formation usually would take some years or decades. I have read that it takes 100 years to make a decent orchestra. The wiki reference to egregore is too narrow. There are more planes of existence than the mental. Feeding off the energy of the audience does not require a GLB. The astral levels of the performers light body may absorb substance from the audience. Hitler was quite specific about that for himself. If the feeding is taken too far it becomes psychic vampirism. In some instances the energy flow to the audience goes the other way. For example Jacqueline Du Pre. www.allegrofilms.com/film/Jacqueline_du_Pre_Portrait_Beethoven_Ghost_Elgar_Cello_Concerto_Zukerman_Barenboim_Christopher_Nupen_music_documentary.php?v=137&vid=4Observe her use of the throat. She tenses and twists using the energy to drive the nature spirit of the cello out in the auditorium. The clip I have referenced here is not the clearest example. There are better examples on the DVD referenced on the site. The music in the clip is quite important from various perspectives.

I certainly believe so - and I have performed in front of an audience as a singer and found just that! I have also found the group energy in Lodge can determine whether a Ceremony is going to go well or not so well. There have been occasions where once a mistake has been made, people have become nervous and that nervous-ness has caused matters to "de-rail" somewhat. It IS possible to get things back on track again but one or two people's anxiety can certainly affect everyone else.

On the level of individuals, I recall towards the end of a relationship that despite very detailed conversations, we would have quite different understandings of what was agreed.
From that I deduced that telepathy hardly functions between people when one of them has antipathy to the other. The corollary is that empathy is required for shared imagery.

As Master I certainly had to work hard on several occasions to counterbalance a Bro in a bad mood. Can't say it was all that successful. Just was not the same. On the other hand when a Bro is in an euphoric mood it does seem to lift the whole.
Which raises a point, as Master I never did expect 2 Bros to exclude themselves from the lodge because of temporary 'bad blood', especially when they held officers positions.. we are a small lodge. Maybe that is an error that is made by too many of us in that it dilutes the importance of building up that lodge Light body.

Since the current phase of the Mayan calendar is due to change in Dec this year, it might be worth while giving the inner event some attention. Meanwhile here is a version of the Mayan calendar - that simplified becomes a Masonic pavement. And if we put the Hunab Ku in the middle it will look even better. The Hunab Ku symbol is particularly relevant as the 4 rivers (tassels) from the centre of the galaxy can be seen represented by the diagonals. I posted these on another site but they were deleted because they were not Masonic images. Perhaps Masonry is not as universal as once thought.

I actually tried to place it with the black section in the North (which is where I consciously thought it should be) but it kept bouncing back to above the G when I lost focus. It was a real wrestle there for a while I did not pay proper attention to this when you posted. The Hunab Ku going up into the ceiling is quite significant. You may have already detected the real pavement opening in a lodge - typically gold and white squares - stretching across the planet. There are pavements from higher temples (in the heavens) that may rarely also enter the lodge but typically they do not descend to the floor. You might like to re-enter your visualisation and try two other pavements against the Hunab Ku. One has pale blue and white tiles and is connected to the Blazing Star. The other has oxford blue and gold tiles and is for the temple in the solar system - where the 7 spirits before the throne of God are the officers. If they do not fit, try the pavements with red and gold tiles - operated by the Great Mother.
