... to find the Alien, we only need to look in the mirror That is certainly a good answer to the title of the thread, depending upon the individual.

It is certainly a comforting thought for some. Others however are comforted by the thought that they are sons of the gods.

Homo sapiens are not an alien species. Fanciful texts, while entertaining and interesting, do not serve as evidence.

“Their language was probably the most spectacular of the whole interaction, which was color – vibrational sort of frequency sound in harmonics with all the colors of the rainbow being projected to me and these sound/colors were like the letters of their alphabet.”

If you want to name drop I could pull up far more empirically supported documents and quotes. What you have brought forward is interesting but sadly unsupported.

..What you have brought forward is interesting but sadly unsupported. I rather liked it from the point of view that voice is supposed to be a major distinction between animals and man. Here we have a proposition that human speech is primitive and hence that there are prospects beyond human. As far as its reality, a little projection beyond the physical body might provide confirmation.

I never said I wasn't a son of God, and I am Homo Sapien

Synesthesia is near my wheelhouse. Would you like to discuss it?

Simply show, not quote the Bible, projection beyond the human body.
BTW, human speech (while intricate) is not what separates us from the other animals. They have communication as well.

Simply show, not quote the Bible, projection beyond the human body. The 3rd degree is a re-enactment.

Simply show, not quote the Bible, projection beyond the human body. Can't show you - but I can tell you the ghost I saw standing by my bed was real... and looking at me. Not some flimsy floating whispy thingy. Scared the heck out of me.

While sympathetic to one's personal experiences those same experiences do not constitute evidence.
By the way, what actually does make us unique amongst the animals on this planet is fire and clothing.

To need fire and clothing to survive would seem to indicate that man is uniquely vulnerable. How could that have occurred?

We survived before fire and clothing and have become the dominant species on the planet. We need neither but they do make life more comfortable and stylish.

So are comfortable and stylish the uniquenesses of man?
I had hoped for more - assuming of course that man must be unique.

It would be nice if there were more, sadly there isn't any differences aside from the use of fire and clothing. We, Homo sapiens, are not unique on our world other than our technology which came from observation and reason.
