When I deleted a personal attack post a while ago, I recalled the above saying. Of course there are many parallel sayings including:
- What goes around comes around - Those who live by the sword, die by the sword - You only get out of life what you put in
And I recalled the Beatles:
"....Instant Karma's gonna get you Gonna look you right in the face Better get yourself together darlin' Join the human race How in the world you gonna see Laughin' at fools like me Who on earth d'you think you are A super star Well, right you are
Well we all shine on Like the moon and the stars and the sun"
The last is of course rather Masonic (see 3rd degree ritual).
Anyway I wondered how many here have recognised "instant karma".
I thought I would start with my observations of a friend. She was adopted and fought with her adoptive mother. Later my friend invested in a block of units. She lived in one and her adoptive mother in another of the block.
After some years my friend wished to get rid of her adoptive mother and eventually decided to sell the units from under the mother. And so she did.
About a decade later, my friend was living with her boyfriend in his house. The power relationship was strongly on her side and eventually he decided to get rid of her by selling the house and put it on the market and she moved out. He then took it off the market.
About 5 years later she discovered that her adoptive mother was actually her aunt - the sister of her mother.
How neat.

In my husbands family there is a woman who was 'mad as hell' when she found out she was adopted. Mad with everybody, this despite being adopted into a very loving family.
She later had a baby herself and had it adopted out.
She is still 'mad as hell' that she was adopted out. I guess the penny will drop sooner or later.

I was observing the clouds of personal karma around some of the passengers in the train today and was pleased to see that most do not completely surround the individuals. Some clouds were looking decidedly wispy and some only covered the lower half of the body.
I thought to look because I observed someone a few days ago engaged in unconstructive behaviour and looked to see what was happening with the personal karma. He had a dark cloud all around him and the action that he was engaged in was packing in some more darkness near his right hip - a little out to the side and a little in front of the body.
Karma of course is energy and can be managed as energy when the appropriate skills are developed.

I was just reminded about a past Master of our lodge, who was very diligent and hardworking, particularly with regards to her Freemasonry. Then we had a Bro who wasn't. When Master she was telling me how at one meeting she lost her patience with the Bro, who yet again performed badly, and mentally thought 'you stupid idot, concentrate'. She felt badly afterwards for thinking that. But she felt a whole lot better the next day when her concentration failed and she nearly had an accident in the car. The other driver leaned out of his car window, waved his hand at her and said 'you stupid idiot, concentrate'. She figured she had just paid for her sins and learned a lesson at the same time. Love that story

It seems to me that criticism is often based on the perspective of the on-looker.
I learned that some years ago. I was working with a woman who had energy-level and self-image problems. I tended to think that she was not trying hard enough with the techniques I had suggested.
She was both grieved and irate at that suggestion. She said I did not know how deeply she struggled every day, hour after hour, with deep fatigue, depression and negative thoughts.
She was quite right. I did not know.

It looks like you have all your eggs in one basket. Perhaps you might pray that you have chosen correctly.

Is that an article of faith?

There have been some evidentiary examples given.
And I was thinking of another on the way home.
A few years ago, just north of here, there was a collision between 2 single occupant vehicles - a car and a ute.
They were driving in opposite directions on the highway when the ute crossed over into the on-coming lanes and collided with the car. Both drivers were killed.
They were father and son.

There have been some evidentiary examples given. So, in a world with countless zillions of events happening every day there have been coincidences. Big deal. There have been many more exceptions. I suggest the coincidences are no more than one would expect by chance or by direct action (crimes are actively prosecuted and, the harder I work the luckier I get).

Those who are free from karma are blessed indeed.

Blessing doesn't come into it.

Blessed, means they ARE blessed.... holy or sacred. Perfected Man.

Karma takes its dense form as energy fields on the various planes of existence. The fields can be observed using inner sight.
The karmic energy fields operate under natural laws thereby can be adjusted directly by qualified beings. This is an interesting area of spiritual science.

Similar to Reiki healing?

Reiki is an entry to spiritual science to which can be added more technical aspects

I had some interesting experiences when I did Reiki I & II. At one point I received a vision of an American Indian, resplendent in feathered headdress and lance (?) in hand, standing on the peak of a steep ravine.
I later discovered that he was the invisible helper of the Reiki Master who was training us.
How weird (but wonderful!) is that.

healing.about.com/od/unearthlyrealms/ig/Spirit-Orbs/Reiki-Spirit-Guide-Orb.htmHave a look at this orb in full size. Wonder if it could be the 'film' of another Indian or whatever. For the record we have photographed lots of these in our lodge room after ceremonies. We can't see them with the naked eye. They are more plentiful when the Brn agree that it was 'a particularly powerful or beautiful' meeting. ?? And how wonderful is this orb above the head. Also the golden moon orb further down on this link. www.thepeacefulhealer.com/Orbs.html(Sorry, I get carried away with orbs - which I can usually photograph in a room after I meditate)

She says "I feel this orb is the manifestation of a spirit helper."
She is quite correct. At the time of the photo the entity has its attention on the coffee table. Perhaps the next client will sit there for a time before the therapy.
