I know the common connection between the Kaaba and Kabbala is Abraham...

It is an interesting question - particularly as the groups occupied the same land areas at various times.
There are enough etymological sources online to investigate the hypothesis.

I know the common connection between the Kaaba and Kabbala is Abraham... Kaaba, origin: Arabic kaʿba, lit., square building < kaʿb, a cube Kabbala(h), origin: Medieval Latin cabbala. So, as one can see, they are etymologically different, the former from Arabic, the latter from Medieval Latin. That Abraham (and Ishmael) built it is fanciful invention from the Qu'ran. Google is our friend.

Origin: Medieval Latin cabala, from Hebrew qabbālâ, received doctrine, tradition, from qibbēl, to receive; see qbl in Semitic roots.
Hence: received teaching
"After the placing of the Black Stone in the Eastern corner of the Kaaba, Abraham received a revelation.."
Thus qbl - received teaching and where the kab (square building) is, Abraham received a teaching.

The Black Stone of Kaaba or Mecca in Arabic, is called Al-hajar Al-aswad. The word Kaaba - Ka'ba - Ka'bah - means Cube.
The masonic cubic stone? The Psalms contains a clear reference to it: The stone which the builders refused is become the head-stone of the corner. Ishmael was looked on as being rejected by God, or so the Israelites believed. Yet it was a progeny of Ishmael that the Last Prophet, the 'head-stone of the corner' was to arise.
While David referred to it as the stone which the builders refused, Jesus spoke of it more plainly in the parable of the husbandman, telling the Israelites that the vineyard, which in the parable stands for the Kingdom of God, would be taken away from them and given to other husbandmen. That by the rejected stone in the prophecy (21:42) was meant a rejected nation (21:43) is made clear by Jesus Christ. That this rejected nation was none other than the Ishmaelites has been borne out by history.
Interesting
The earliest form of Cybele's name may have been Kubaba or Kumbaba which suggests Humbaba, who was the guardian of the forest in the Epic of Gilgamesh - the world's oldest recorded myth from Assyria of circa 2,500 BCE and, as scholars reveal more of the text as the source of most of the major mythological themes of later civilizations.
The origin of Kubaba may have been kube or kuba meaning 'cube'.
Kubaba could have been Kababa ;D and note: - Cybele..a goddess of caverns and mountains, walls and fortresses, nature, wild animals (especially lions and bees).

Now deviating on the subject a little (bear with me, it all ties together)... I, as of late, have been very fascinated with the Hopi Indian culture and theology. According to they're beliefs, after "the great deluge" they were given a set of tablets (which I've been trying to decode as of late) that were supposed to be utilized at the end of this earth age. They were told to go as far north, south, east and west as they could. The brother going east was given a small chunk of the tablet (tablet of fire) and was never seen again. The tribe thought he died. I think different. I think that he walked all the way to the middle east and that the Hebrews are of Hopi decent. I believe that the "black cube" of the Kaaba is actually the missing piece of the Hopis tablet. The Hopi tablet of fire is said to be made out of what looks to be dark red, almost black glass. The same could be said about the black cube at the Kaaba. Hopis prophesied that they're "true white brother" would come back with the missing piece and be able to decode the tablet. They said that they would know him because he would have white skin but retain black hair (sounds like a jew to me). I found evidence of a genetic link between the Native Americans and the Jews. www.smithsonianmag.com/science-nature/san-luis-valley.htmlI read a passage in the dead sea scrolls that stated the next chosen one would be of Ishmaels lineage.... Opinions?

A cube and lions and bees ... oh my! Our brain often creates patterns where none actually exist. It is the way we are hard wired. Any random series of words and objects can be made to seem significant if we extrapolate enough...

That should be obvious in the genetics.
But it may be that Jews and Hebrews are not the same.

Good at pattern making aren't I Might make a good architect Q.. if the brain is hard wired to create pattern where none actually exists (and the brain is part of the perfect plan of the GA) why might this be so?

The world runs on Fractals. The epitome of "as above so below". Never considered that the thought process could run on Fractals too.....

I am not sure that the world actually runs on fractals. It is difficult to see how any system could run on a modified random walk.
Perhaps fractals are an approximation of an underlying system - something with life force.
