My girlfriend was invited to a retreat this past weekend by Ariel, the editor of Green Egg (now an e-zine) and I was her guest. Her and her husband Tom have a beautiful place in the mountains in East Tennessee. It was a very uplifting experience, the first time I had been in the company of fellow Pagans in a long time. The Appalachian mountains are rife with energy, and the American South is a melting pot of traditions - Cherokee, Scots/Irish and African. The famous Blue Stones of Stonehenge fame can be found in only one place on earth other than the UK - here in these mountains. They were connected at one time when the continents were joined. Needless to say, some of the most powerful Ley Lines and power centers on the planet are right here. We had a workshop on healing, in which we did a guided meditation to meet Chiron, which was an interesting experience. I had some difficulty as I am woefully out of practice in such things, getting only a fleeting contact with him. I remember him telling me to "lend a sympathetic ear," which I take to mean to open my heart and my compassion and be one to whom one can confide in. Unburdening the mind can help a person tremendously. We had a water ritual at a creek near the house, in which we passed the chalice, filled with natural springwater, from one to another, saying "Thou art Goddess (or God), may you never thirst." It was quite beautiful, and lent a sense of community. The group was much closer after that, I felt. We had a pot-luck supper, the centerpiece of which was a 24 pound turkey. It was all quite delicious! ;D Some of us tried homedistilled Absinthe, made with homegrown wormwood to an original recipe. I did not indulge, as I had to drive home, and alcohol no longer agrees with my aging system. In all, it was a wonderful time and I look forward to doing such in the future.

I really enjoyed that post henka. It all sounds so marvellous. I am a keen reader on the ley lines. Are you familiar with the works of the late Colin Bloy, founder of The Fountain Group? Some of his works are available free on-line if you do a search. I have just started a great book by Freddy Silva, called Common Wealth... you might like to check that one out for yourself. It was inexpensive to buy and I am just loving it. Hope to share some of his stuff here on the forum... about the immense energy contained in stone (and 'stones') and practical advantages of temple building. Meeting Chiron... from the message he gave you I think that you were very successful in your quest. I noticed a change in your style in the post above. I think I could hug you It is quite surprising just who or what one can meet in a meditative or dream state. More surprising are the messages one is given. (Just between you n me, what is the difference between a half-man/half-horse and an unicorn? In my case I keep meeting cats of all sizes. All these amazing animals trying to tell us something. Amazing)

I did a quick check on Chiron.. seems you are in good company henka. A great healer, astrologer, and respected oracle, Chiron was said to be the first among centaurs and highly revered as a teacher and tutor. Among his pupils were many culture heroes: Asclepius, Aristaeus, Ajax, Aeneas, Actaeon, Caeneus, Theseus, Achilles, Jason, Peleus, Telamon, sometimes Heracles, Oileus, Phoenix, and in one Byzantine tradition, even Dionysus: according to Ptolemaeus Chennus of Alexandria, "Dionysius was loved by Chiron, from whom he learned chants and dances, the bacchic rites and initiations."[6]
Are you a healer? Do you know if there is any connection between Chiron the Centaur and Chiron the planetoid? Does Chiron in an astrological chart indicate healing powers?

Are you a healer? Perhaps, I've never explored that possibility before. It was named after him. I would think so, to a greater or lesser degree.

Without getting too personal.. is there someone in your life where you might apply your healing skills and in the manner suggested? It might be interesting to note what feedback you get from the person being healed.

I encourage her to be herself, that she has worth and can do whatever she sets her mind to.

I ran into an energy with an emerald green colour a couple of days ago. The label I got for the energy was: Fulfilment of the Child.
The point made was that when a child is young they have access to an energy that they will later need to mature as adults. If the childhood is difficult then the person is unlikely to absorb enough for the later maturing process.
If so, it may be possible to amend adult situations by direct placement of that energy.

Maybe you can mentally apply some of your beautiful green energy to your young friend henka. It may enhance or expedite a healing.

Such interventions have preconditions for ethics and for success

I assumed henka knew those. But perhaps others don't. I know one has to ask permission from above and the person concerned. Can you add what you know on this subject, paul?

The persona may in fact be composed of several entities, some of which may rather prefer to be as they are.
There may also be some extraneous entities hiding in the light body that fend off interventions.
There may also be localised karmic issues - both personal and family.
As I grow older I intervene much less.

So just listening is as good and safe as anything else we might do.

I think the unburdening of one's troubles is healing in itself. Listening and allowing the person to work towards the solution on their own is the basic principle of psychiatry.

I am wondering what the moral & ethics are regarding townships and/or situations.
On the radio this morning, they were discussing the very serious problem of petrol sniffing and other worriesome behaviours by many of the indigenous people who camp in and around Alice Springs (a beautiful town in the centre of Australia). Violence often results.
Colin Bloy started the Fountain Group, so named because he and some fellow light workers decided to focus Light on a significant feature in the middle of Brighton (UK) who were having problems of their own at that time. The significant feature was a fountain in a city square.
There were results (police records etc) from their efforts.
If we decided to try a group experiment along these lines (I think I could enthuse other members of my lodge to participate) how should we proceed? Any hints or clues from anyone gratefully received.

FOUNTAIN GROUPS started in the 1970's in Brighton in England. A group of people were very concerned about the vandalism happening in the Town and were despairing after trying many ideas to rectify the problem. Colin Bloy was part of that group and he suggested that they, as a group, concentrate love on a Hara for a few minutes every day at midday wherever members happened to be. The Hara they decided on was the Old Stein Fountain in Brighton, this was situated on a crossing of Ley Lines and had stones from an ancient stone circle incorporated around it. When Colin dowsed it he found that the Ley Lines were not active at all.
After a few weeks of injecting the Fountain with love - which it soaked up like a sponge - Colin found that there was an energy build-up happening. Eventually, the Fountain started to radiate the energy out and at that point the group decided to let the Police know about what they were doing so the vandalism levels could be properly monitored. To everyone's amazement, the rate of vandalism dropped but the group decided to keep going and by Bank Holiday the energy field was halfway to London. A group of bikies decided to ride to Brighton on the Bank Holiday without wearing their helmets. They were soon being followed by the Police and they all pulled into a Pub and parked opposite each other. The Pub was in the Fountain energy field and when it looked like a brawl was going to happen, the police sweet talked the bikies into putting their helmets on and they rode off towards Brighton without violence happening.
The next day's headlines were 'Bikie Gang has Peaceful Confrontation with the Law'. Now a few people started to wonder why, learnt about the Fountain Group and the word spread all over the world. Last century, I was very involved with the Australian and English Fountain Groups, both published N'letters and I was also fortunate to visit the Old Stein Fountain where it all began.
Now, this century, we have a simliar situation happening with much violence erupting in our cities and communities. I am writing this to urge you to consider starting your own Fountain Groups in your own areas, all you need is a few people to quietly get on with it, choose your Hara, decide on a mutual time and have a few meetings to exchange information. Having a dowser in the group is not necessary but helpful so the energy generated can be monitored but you should know what effect it is having by the lessening of trouble. So many young people seem to be lost to alcohol and drugs and this is just another way of helping them on a more subtle level. My very best wishes to you all and I would love to know if you start a group and how it is affecting your neighbourhood.

Colin passed away not so long ago and I can't locate the Fountain Group site any more. ? Pity. He was a wonderful man and I did a workshop with him when he was in Adelaide some years ago. Great day.

I was involved with a local Fountain group for a while.
>I am wondering what the moral & ethics are regarding townships and/or situations.
I think with humans and almost any species that humans might meet that it is proper to provide Love since this part of Creation operates under a God of Love.
The sending of Light is more difficult as light makes darker shadows and may be contrary to the natural process of the entity.
