Very young children (up to 5 years of age) see auras naturally. Infants frequently look ABOVE a person in front of them. When they don't like the color of the aura above the head, or if this color is much different from their parent's aura, they cry, no matter how much smiling the person does.
Children have much cleaner and stronger auras than most of adults, who are usually completely enslaved by the materialistic world and suppress their Nature by following superficial examples. When I taught my 12 year old son to see his own Aura, he told me that when he was little he was able to see Auras most of the time. But no one paid any attention, so he thought that it was not important and maybe there was something wrong with his eyesight. This is a typical scenario. In my opinion children should learn to see and read Auras in a primary school, so they never lose this natural ability.
>Infants frequently look ABOVE a person in front of them
My first born certainly did that with me and the cat of that time did too. I even have a friend who looks above my head quite frequently but she does not know why.
>when he was little he was able to see Auras most of the time.
That too is common. And my first born could see nature spirits when 7 but has now forgotten.
My little 4 yr old asked me once who the red man was that was following me That freaked me out just a tad.
She also told me who she was in a previous life.
She has not memory of either incident now.
Maybe it is necessary to lose those senses so that we can 'do the work with our own tools' and so raise ourselves up by our own efforts.
Our birth is but a sleep and a forgetting: The Soul that rises with us, our life’s Star, Hath had elsewhere its setting, And cometh from afar: Not in entire forgetfulness, And not in utter nakedness, But trailing clouds of glory do we come From God, who is our home: Heaven lies about us in our infancy! Shades of the prison-house begin to close Upon the growing Boy, But he beholds the light, and whence it flows, He sees it in his joy; The Youth, who daily farther from the east Must travel, still is Nature’s priest, And by the vision splendid Is on his way attended; At length the Man perceives it die away, And fade into the light of common day.
Earth fills her lap with pleasures of her own; Yearnings she hath in her own natural kind, And, even with something of a mother’s mind, And no unworthy aim, The homely nurse doth all she can To make her foster-child, her Inmate Man, Forget the glories he hath known, And that imperial palace whence he came.
-William Wordsworth (From Ode: Intimations of Immortality)
They seem to be limited in their choices... animals and humankind.
What does 'do worse at human life' mean? Sages and savants seem to suffer more than the average man. Anyone who is different suffers one way or another.. doesn't mean that they are not the real Masters of human life though.
It is noteworthy that many psychics (genuine ones) seem to be less educated in academic subjects.

Some thoughts:-
1. If you are close to ascension you are by definition (not the right word) "above" the mass of humanity. Hence you dont "fit in" easily. You simply see the world in a different way to most people. All that you can do is remember that you were once "there" it is just that you are a bit further along the path, and illuminte the way as best you can. It is a funny paradox, for you may be spiritually advanced but in terms of making a living it is difficult directly because of this position on the path (eg you can get frustrated at behaviour standards, expect to much of leaders etc).
2. Animals are not lower creatures by any means. Animals are here in life cycles just like us humans are and every form of life has its place in the balance. Animals as has been alluded to above, can be protectors.
3. Never underestimate the wisdom of children. They come here to lean lessons and do a job, as does everyone, and as they "settle in" to life in this incanation their wisdom can be profound. Especially now (over past 50 years increasingly) that more and more old souls are clearly reincarnating. This is one of the paradoxes of modern day life - on the one hand they are here to help the human race at a difficult time through puberty, yet equally as they are all further along the path than the bulk of humanity they are a little out of phase and this is reflected positively in increasing societal social awareness and demanding that leaders do the right thing, and negatively in social issues as people try to "fit in". Once our world has leaders who fully comprehend this many of our global societal problems will simply evaporate away. It should be an interesting few decades ahead as more and more old souls take up the reigns of power in our world to help it through a time of natural evolution.
