This a duplicate post from the Craft and Cabala thread... worthy of its own place I feel.
BEAUTY On the Tree of Life Beauty = Tifaret/Tiphareth and is allied to the Sun.
I once read that "in Tifaret, conflict is reconciled, and contradiction resolved".
Below it are, respectively, Yesod (Foundation) and Malkut (Kingdom). As these two are, respectively, often connected to the Moon and the Earth, we have here an ascent from Earth, to Moon, to Sun, to the Sun-beyond-the Sun (alluded to in Plato's allegory of the Cave' in Book VII of his Republic) as Keter (the Crown).
The lowest of the two require that we both keep our feet on the ground and that we build a solid foundation before ascending further. We have physical body, and life forces with which to work and direct. these provide initial work.
It is appropriate that the pillar is named by the central Sefirah, for the highest reminds one of Enoch: he 'walked with God, and was not".

The auric field.. good vibrations. The Good and the True create the Beautiful. The degree of the Good and the True that we are able to embody shows forth in our auric field, which becomes the more beautiful because of it. When 'the Sun' rises in us, we become radiant. Others feel this even if they cannot see it.

mass produced items can (and often r specificly designed to) be pleasing.. things that incorporate elements of universal law (geometry, symmetry, etc) often move us more than things that dont.. could regarding something as beautiful be a recognition of an adherance to universal law by an unconscious part of intelligent life?
do trees recognise universal law? music (music usually follows universal law very closely) has (reputedly) been proven to influence plantgrowth.. does that mean plants have an unconscious part similar to humans that is able to recognise universal law?
Is it possible that any matter exists anywhere that is unresponsive (dead). If the atom is part of the All, it naturally follows that there is Intelligence involved. Even the atoms of corpses know what to do next.
Good point mgc about beauty becoming manifest because of Universal Law.
The other point is that behind mass produced items is the mind of the designer. The trinity of Thinker, Thought, Thing.
