Most of us are familiar with the absurd answer to why the sun is always at its meridian with respect to Masonry.
Here is a more appropriate response from long ago.
""Understand that I approached the bounds of death, I trod the threshold of Proserpine, and after that I was ravished through all the elements, I returned to my proper place; about midnight I saw the sun brightly shine; I saw likewise the gods celestial and the gods infernal, before whom I presented myself and worshiped them.""
Proserpine was the daughter of Ceres (typically holding an ear of corn) and Proserpine made the mistake of eating pomegranates and thereby was trapped with "the gods infernal". Ceres is the same goddess as Demeter and Demeter was "covered" by Poseidon to produce Proserpine. As Poseidon is a sea god, we have an ear of corn near a fall of water.
I once saw the sun at midnight in a dream. The sky was jet black, and the sun was white, not yellow or gold. But I knew it was the sun, and it spoke to me.
Perhaps seeing the sun a midnight is an experience everyone will go through sooner or later, and maybe we don't have to wait for death to experience it.
The dream moved my life in a different direction, and it did entail more work, risk taking and responsibility. I am grateful for the experience.

That's how it would appear in space.
They say Japan was made by a sword. They say the old gods dipped a coral blade into the ocean, and when they pulled it out four perfect drops fell back into the sea, and those drops became the islands of Japan. I say, Japan was made by a handful of brave men. Warriors, willing to give their lives for what seems to have become a forgotten word: honor. -The Last Samurai
And in space the sun is always at its meridian with respect to the brother raised from the tomb
Bravo.

Great point Paul, I had not thought of it along those lines. So bloomin' obvious now you've hit me over the head with it. "For those that have eyes to see, and ears to hear" just sprang to mind.
