Really? I have never heard of such a phenomenon... but it could well be true...I read somewhere about well-brought-up Victorian ladies under anaesthetics suddenly frequently breaking out into streams of curses!
Don't forget, old people were raised in an era where "facades' of social propriety were important to maintain, and thus, once their facades are "crumbling under the assaults of old age and the accompanying deterioration of their mental capacities, the "real" them starts to emerge, unmediated by the carefully constructed 'facade"!
I once had a geriatric nurse telling me about being frenziedly assaulted by a dementia patient and all the while the patient was screaming "Don't hit me! Don't hit me!". Aside from the physical injury it was also very EMBARRASSING, with visitors passing by the door of the room and hearing EVERYTHING!

Just reading again about Iapetus and it is stranger than I thought. For example it has an almost completely circular orbit but at 15 degrees to the orbit of the rest of the moons.
The angle of the orbit means that it was not formed in the same process as the other moons of Saturn. And the very circular orbit means that it was not a passing object caught by Saturn's gravity. That would have produced an elliptical orbit - as the planets have around the Sun.
Spheres have been dug up in South Africa in rock layers about 2.8 billion years old. The spheres look like toy Death Stars.
There's certainly something intriguing about Iapetus. It looks like there are craters on it and the ridge looks rather strange around the circumference.

It is very probably artificial - as can be deduced from its improbable orbit - 15 degrees from the orbit of the other moons and much too circular to be natural capture.

Talking of moons and orbits, its been very interesting watching the ABC program 'Stargazing Live' this week. I was stunned at the clarity of the images of Jupiter and its moons. Some viewers even claimed to have discovered stars by their own efforts and carried out some research therefrom. The world is discovering a lot more now than it was 30 years ago. Some surprising things have come up in astronomy in the last 5 years.
