I recently got a husky dog, and I looked into their past, and it turns out, when the harsh winter comes in siberia, the humans release the dogs to "fend for themselves"
This is a difficult dynamic, as wolves have purposely surrendered their sovereignty and hunting ability to make-space and share burdens with humanity
So, to push them out is a form of betrayal
Well, the huskies that survived, learned not to connect to humans as deeply as other breeds (Because they may be shoved out during times of need. By the way, felines taught the canines how to survive the winter. Which is why huskies seem to be canine hardware operating on feline software. Felines are... Amazing)

My client has not paid me, in a number of days, and my journey, has made it almost impossible, to keep the kibble bucket filled for the dogs, so I have been feeding them rice, but not as much as they would like.

I began to feel him become vulnerable to me, and he asked me, in the ether- if he could trust me, as a human. The implication: That the wounded canine who has been alienated from humanity, could learn to trust man again.
And, so, the gods of the canine, who are holding of some authority over this realm, began to question me: am I worthy of this trust? (Canine vulnerability.)
It was then my heart spoke to me: That perhaps I am:
I willingly, lovingly, gave of myself, to Ladywolf, after she nibbled on my physical body, gave her life and love, from my essence,

And they saw this, and in my heart, a spark was birthed
