A sharp knock at my door startled me awake.

What the fuck? I sighed. Such knocks were almost never good- but another sound, like something hard was hitting it, with a growing growl that made me freeze- from the other side- made me tense up.

BAM BAM BAM!

GRRR...

Oh, fuck!

I got to my feet, my body, seemingly frozen with terror- that I fought with everything in me.

"Hold on, g-g-give me a second!"

I go to my feet, and stood naked by the door.

"I'm. naked." Rather than receiving a verbal okay, I simply heard more pounding on my door.

"Alright!"

I opened the door- to see a somewhat washes, hairless, nearly eight foot tall, snarling wolf girl with a collar around her neck, and a reptilian, with a ten foot pole, attached to the other side.

"Oh- uh, uh, hi! Welcome!" I said, trying not to feel the horrid knot that was growing in my gut- and the sense that she already knew she had the predators upper hand.

"C-Come in!"

"Paperwork." The reptilian said, handing me some paperwork.

"This is going to take time to read- and I do not speak this language. I said I wanted her free and clear."

"That is what this is."

I tried to read it as fast as I could, as it changed to english on the tablet. Asrael began growling again, when the reptilian shook her collar, and she lowered her lips. 

"There is to be no more contract between us. This looks like a new contract."

"So leave it!" He said, growing impatient.

"This, transfer of ownership and release of liability is all I see here that I will sign.

"As you wish!"

I read it three times, to make sure I was not missing anything, then cautiously signed it.

When I was done, the reptilian disconnected the collar pole, and disappeared with a flash of light.

I looked at the tall, muscular, naked wolf girl, my human eyes going to parts of her body- that made her start to growl again.

"I-I'm sorry. I don't mean to... Stare." I said, when her own eyes fell between my legs- and her growls, growing much louder the moment I had any sexual thoughts about her body.

"Come in, please."

She stepped in, smelling their air and wincing.

"Please, I'll... clean it up." I said softly as she brushed passed me, my dogs all barking and growling- but staying as far away from her as they could.

"YOU KNOW WHY I AM HERE."

"FREEDOM." She growled out, her voice deep, and powerful.

"C-can I interest you in some... food?"

She eyed me up and down as if to say, "YOU ARE THE FOOD."

It was unmistakable.

"No, not me. You aren't going to eat me."

"YOU SET ME FREE. I CAN DO WHAT I WANT."

"True. That's true. However, there are... Rules. No eating me is the first rule."

"BUT THEN YOU CAN GIVE ME LOVE, DAVID. DON'T YOU WANT THAT?" She hissed through her teeth.

"Wh-what can I do to make your stay here enjoyable?"

Her lips lifted as a hiss escaped her throat- telling me, she probably should not be honest about answer that particular question.

An awkward moment of silence passed between us, and she allowed her lips to relax, as she ducked under my mobile homes lower ceiling.

"I AM GOING TO SLEEP, NOW."

"Oh! Sure!" I said, scurrying to clear the things off of my bed.

She slept for five days, snoring loudly, as I tried going about my business, and not waking her.

Eventually, I found her, with her dark golden eyes open- her twitching nose alerted.

"I made you something to eat." I said, softly, handing her a plate of food, which she promptly swatted out of my hands. The hatred in her eyes told me, there was one meal on her mind, and it was also, forbidden.

I took a candy bar out of the fridge, peeled the label, and handed it to her. Her thick canine nose scented it, when she swatted it out of my hand, and began eating it.

"You can lower your lips, now."

She glared at me, and scoffed.

"I AM BORED!"

She said, her eyes falling to my penis.

"May I touch you?"

"IF YOU SO MUCH AS LAY A FINGER ON ME, I WILL TEAR YOUR THROAT RIGHT OUT."

So I touched a finger to her left foot, and her eyes went wide.

"Pretty sure that's also against the rules." I said, defying her- and she just froze. Her eyes glowed with a fiery hatred, and barely restrained rage.

"Look- I know I made mistakes in the past, or, at least, the guy I once was, did. I- do not want to repeat any of those mistakes. Don't you think you would gain more flies with honey, rather than vinegar?"

"I HATE FLIES!!!" she growled, lifting her lips, again.

"Alright." I said, partially regretting that her scent had been washed away, even if it was better described as a sweaty stench.

I handed her another candy bar, which she smacked out of my hand.

Her eyes were darker than I thought, with a mixture of deep gold.

"You have beautiful eyes." I said, meaning every word.

She picked up the candy bar, and began eating it, wrapper and all.

"You want something to do? Did you have anything in mind?" I asked, trying to be cordial, and, perhaps, bonding with her sexually, if I was lucky.

"EATTT." She said with a prolonged growl.

"Alllright." I said, going to the outside freezer, and fetching some good, old fashioned hot dogs.

As I cooked them in the air fryer, I watched her eyes grow wide, her muzzle pointing to the fryer, craning to smell the cooking meat.

When they were done, I took them out, as large, thick strings of drool, hung from her massive muzzle.

"I think we have a winner." I said with a grin that was not matched by her.

I placed them on break, putting catchup on one, mustard on another, and another, onions, and some cheese.

Rather than testing what appealed to her, she devoured the entire dish, break, hot dogs, sauces, cheese- all of it, chewing with large, exaggerated mashing of her powerful jaws.

When she was done, she simply tossed the plate near my feet.

"MORE."

"As you wish." I said, but this time, her eyes, followed me, and her thick muzzle, peered out of my window.

I did that five more times, until the hot dogs were gone.

With a fart, she lay back down on my bed, and passed out.

"If um. We're going to live together, it may help to accept that... We are, uh, two people, with, uh, needs..."

"Well that can be taken two ways." I said with a chuckle as she glared at me.

With a frustrated, angry sigh, she placed her fingers between her legs, her eyes going lazy, when she pulled them out, and pushed them to my nose.

This is, sort of, a guess, of, what Asrael/Ladywolf/Wolf girl from OBE, might be like, given new information about her.

She is not mentally disabled, but, rather, the old version of me was only interested in having sex with her. He never educated her.

Early on, I began to sense, that she felt inferior to me, that I have a, "Vast intellect", and she, was slightly intimidated, or perhaps a bit more than slightly- and, given the visceral hatred I felt during the vent at the wolf sanctuary.

It is possible, she would growl.. A lot.

And be horny, all of the time.

I want it to resonate with her.

I traced my fingers on her skin, observing the movie reflected in her eyes. Softly, she blinked.

It had been two weeks since she last growled in anger, or lifted her lips.

She said, running her claws through my hair, sending electric lightning bolts up and down my spine.

"You say that a lot. Just don't be an asshole, again." She said, scratching my head a little too rough with her claws.

"I know, it's not easy, some times." She said, softly, and removed her hand from my scalp.

"Everything... Is getting better between us. Don't you agree?"

"You still smell funny after you're drunk for a while. And, you bathe far too much."

"I agree." I said, savoring how close I was to her.

"I'm gonna keep you, I think."

Humans were still not really used to seeing the animal folk out and about, and she got stares and gawks everywhere she went.

Once she barked at someone who passed out, and roared at a man she thought was going to attack me- he simply was distracted by her hulking frame and nearly walked into me.

I connected to her, and she said something along the lines of, she does not like how the stories "make me feel". I admitted, something lacks.

I think, they lack a desire for her, to want to be educated in a deeper way.

This is a part of the process. I am, also, collecting back into myself.

So, wolf people, left alone, tend to, get comfortable just like her, food, sex, sleep. If they get those things, they are generally very content with life, and there is really, unless other circumstances are at play, such as a desire to, say, fly a helicopter.

I was told one of the wolf women, was "Worried" I would get bored of her, and I have to be careful about that. Earlier I would say are you fucking kidding me, wolf women are fucking real I would never get tired of them, ever ever, however, now- I realize- it is possible.

It does feel, a bit final, releasing her like this. It is a step of faith, and, it is so difficult, as every other step of stepping away has been, when it comes to her and the wolf people.

This is a big step.

My heart believes, it will work out. Her, and I, can release the adverse energy and karma. Because I am seeing a good amount of it.

And, it will be interesting to see what happens with her, rage and anger.

Anyway- I do love her. I want good things for her. If I am holding onto her, I think it also keeps her trapped in the anger and trauma. So. This is good, but- again, hard. SO many emotional attachments.

And, it does help, to remember, how I made her feel- and how angry she was over her past life treatment. Even if it was not as bad as maybe the memories say (it could be worse.) she did feel that way about it. Her emotions, are valid.

I feel like, this is doing the right thing- even by her. The outside groups interested in me remaining attached to her, will fall away, and I pull back into myself. Paul warned me, she may be, "punished" for it, as she is a victim as well, that will be the hardest part- and I will try and be as gentle with her as I can be, I know this will not be easy for her in some ways, either.

So, some things are happening, of these groups surrounding Ms. OBE wolf girl.

They are, wanting to punish her, and hurt her, and make her life hard..

And, I cannot lie, this is going to suck for her... It is going to feel like I am abandoning her.

I warned her about it... But an answer came to me- maybe I am able to protect her, to be by her side through these hard times, and to carry her in my arms, when I am able to (But still push for her liberty and her freedom.)

I see, a while for her, dark night of the soul. just like I suffered, and struggled, something similar may be awaiting her. However, it is a part of it, and as I said, ethically, I want to do this honorably, and to not leave her, feeling broken, punished, and abandoned.

My heart did feel good, about protecting her.

Some of these groups are adverse.

I think Paul is right, there is backlash with it.

I will do what I am able.

As, we are separating, and I am focusing on myself, we only have so much time to spend together.

She, or a group associated with her, sent me, a picture of, her, laying on her belly, her tail up, and glancing back at me.

I pushed my intent towards her, and she was fine with it. I know better, than to just assume this is all her will and intent, and not possibly some form of means to keep me connected to her.

It could also be her last moments in this incarnation, and maybe in her last bits of time, she does actually want to spend time connecting with me.

I am endeavoring to be strong, to be ethical, loving for her, and to make this easy. Not just a ripping off of a band aid, but spending some sacred moments together, her and I.

I was shown there may be difficulties with me, but I intend to get through them.

It may be for the best. It feels a tad heartbreaking.
