Remember I was just a kid... I didn't analyze things back then, just responded/reacted. I figured if I didn't like the sermons then it must have been the ritual. As a kid, and believing what 'they' said about God being everywhere, I knew that He must be in me as well as out there. Everything was assumed.

I remember the bishop mentioned above was testing me for my confirmation and asked the question.. "to know, love and serve God, which is the most important". My answer was "to know God". The bishop was taken aback and wanted to know why loving God was not more important. I told him that if we didn't know Him, then we could neither love or serve Him. Not bad for a 9 year old. The bishop decided to confirm me anyway
To know = Wisdom? To serve = Strength? To love = Beauty?
