Anyway it reminded me of an incident long ago. There was a cherry guava tree in the back yard but it did not produce much fruit and mostly they had fruit fly. So one night, I went out in the dark and showed an ax to the tree and said: If you do not produce good fruit I will cut you down. I told no one about this and no one saw me.
Two weeks later my partner came in from the back yard and said: That cherry guava is terrified that you will cut it down.
As it happened the fruit improved and the tree remained.
I think trees have a very fascinating hidden life. They are known to be symbolic of the human brain. If you talk to plants and form a bond with them they will be fruitful and make you happy.
