Isn't "3 dimensions" a man-made concept designed to assist in understanding the reality in which we find ourselves? Are you asking "Why did man settle on 3D as a description?" or "Why is the Universe the way it is"?
>Isn't "3 dimensions" a man-made concept designed to assist in understanding the reality in which we find ourselves?
3D seems rather too accurate to be arbitrary. Most of the houses built using the 3D concept are stable and functional.
So why is 3D an accurate description of the physical plane?
In 3D there are only 5 regular solids - the Platonic solids. In 4D there are 6 such regular solids. But in 5D and above there are only 3 regular solids.
>Why was it a SIN for King David to count the people in his army?
Deuteronomy 32 When the Most High gave to the nations When He separated the children of men, He set the borders of the peoples According to the number of the children of Israel. 9For the portion of the LORD is His people, Jacob the lot of His inheritance.
Thus we learn that the Lord only received Jacob and his relatives. They were his chosen people but chosen by the Most High and not by the Lord. And he was a jealous god.
Thus counting his people was rubbing his nose in his shame of being given so little and being so unimportant.
>He set the borders of the peoples >According to the number of the children of Israel.
Note the carefully misleading statement in JPS. TMH actually set the borders of the people (divided them) according to the number of sons of God. Each son/daughter received his/her own set of humans as servants (slaves)
>why this might take me a while to safely assume reasoning
Genesis is a simplified version of Sumerian writings. Abraham was from Sumer.
The Jewish writings were edited many times - for example to obscure their god having a consort - a goddess - Shekinah (she who dwells in a tent).
Also the editors progressively played up the role of their god and downplayed the roles of the other gods of which their god was jealous. For example the god Shalim after which Jerusalem is named.
And most of the events of the OT cannot be verified by archeologists. This is because both the period and place of events are wrong. Why?
