The legend of the king (or similar) asleep or concealed in a sacred hill is very common. An obvious one is Arthur's Seat at Edinburgh. I will confess that I have always found Authurs Seat to be very energising. Like a magnet in a way. Windy at the top but very energising. As a side note the Swans seem to love it as well. It also acts as a wecoming beacon in the distance. The lion may be asleep but it still purrs! (for those who dont know this extinct volcano is shaped pretty much like a lion resting) And while on the subject of Royalty you do have Hollyrood Palace at its base, and of course the Royal Mile leading from it.

>From my limited observations the British are quite good at aligning the inner and the outer with ceremonial.
Some time ago I was in London for a couple weeks and was able to attend a meeting almost every night. There was a palpable difference in those meetings compared to the ones I've enjoyed in the States. Perhaps the reason is as Paul explained.
Not that any of the meetings were any better, although the Brits certainly do square a sharp corner. I just put it up to the fact that to my American ears the accent I heard in L. was just classier. Being interested in linguistics, I felt an affection for the language that I rarely hear here. Still, in my mouth it would sound affected.

Do you actually detect the purring? The obvous answer to this Paul is no. But I do feel its energy. Mind you I have, over the past few years, become quite connected with our landscape, and can often connect at an energy level able sometimes to feel the lifeforce in all. To me it certainly has brought meaning to the trinity, though in a more gnostic way than Catholics might feel comfortable with. As with anything it has multiple layers. To some it is just a hill, to othes an extinct volcano. To some an inspiration, yet to others a place of comfort and energy. A bit like the human being. We all know that we are solid, yet science accepts and knows that each of our mass, if the empty space was removed by the breaking of the energetic bonds, would fit into a sugarcube (well in my case probably half a dozen sugarcubes!!). Most people still think this crazy, yet it is accepted mainstream scientific fact. The raw energy that flows through Scotland could be one reason why (good education being another) so many leadrs in our world have scottish roots. Likewise its rawness on the opposite end of the spectrum could be one reason why so many special forces are Scots (tough upbringings being another). It is a facinating area of esoteric study. E really does = MC2. If we Scots could learn to capitise on this we would become a very significant force in the world. Mind you we are already given how we emigrate and get top jobs, and now China even trains some of its doctors in Scotland. (And gives Alex Salmond the SNP leader greater access to talk in China than David Cameron (Britsh Prime Minister), on occassion). But I digress. Yes I can feel the energetic lifeforce of some plants, animals and the landscape, most commonly with trees. Mind you to keep Visitor happy how else would I be able to aid the return of maat to this planet? Evil cackle laugh ;D

>As with anything it has multiple layers. To some it is just a hill, to othes an extinct volcano. To some an inspiration, yet to others a place of comfort and energy. I once visited Arthur's Seat and it was obvious to me that an energy was entering near the summit coming in at a high angle. I made my way across a steep stony slope to the entry where I found a particular flake of stone that I took with me. Next morning as we sat in the car outside Roslyn waiting for it to open, I gave the stone to a friend to hold while we meditated. She said the stone got so hot that she almost dropped it. The stone lost that energy over the next few days but it had met its purpose of bringing Arthur's Seat to my friend who was unavoidably absent from our excursion the day before. >The raw energy that flows through Scotland could be one reason why (good education being another) so many leadrs in our world have scottish roots. I recall one trip from the Highlands to London. I was asleep in the back of the car when an energy change woke me. It was exactly as we crossed the border into England. Even the Lowlands are much wilder than England. And there is a gold-coloured cloud of cosmic energy over the Highlands where it is anchored for the planet. >If we Scots could learn to capitise on this we would become a very significant force in the world. As far as I could tell the "Angel of Scotland" was in some way captured after the joining of the crowns of Scotland and England - imprisoned under the Thistle Chapel. After that time the Scottish people did not seem to achieve nationally but only as individuals. As I recall the "angel" was released a year or so before the Scotland Act 1978. www.edinburghnotes.com/places/thistle-chapel.htmlThere is a long history of political magic in Edinburgh - including by use of large fiery elemental upwelling through Castle Rock. These days such magic may be more written about than practiced - at least I hope so. home.earthlink.net/~walterk12/Celtic/Edinburgh.html

Notice the triangle within the eye. What does that mean? It means Blake was good at observing and representing an intermediate form of a partially dilated feline's pupil (between circular and vertical slit).

Hello Smithee
Perhaps Blake was not so good after all as the photo above is not really very triangular and his Tyger is shown in broad daylight.
I rather thought his triangle in the eye of the Tyger was intended to be equilateral and hence the Tattwa symbol for fire.
The triangle in the eye can be used with the same technique as the Tattwa symbol.
Blake might even have been telling us something about the Eye in the Triangle. But who would want to know about that?

The All-Seeing Eye ... have you ever considered what a great burden it might be to have 'extended vision'? If our little problems weigh us down how well could we cope with the problems of the seen and unseen? When it comes to dire fates, I come from the I don't want to know till it happens camp.

I rather think that the All Seeing Eye is a case of theology layered on to an historical event.
Thus we have a hymn to Enlil
"Enlil, whose command is far-reaching, whose word is holy, The lord whose pronouncement is unchangeable, who forever decrees destinies, Whose lifted eye scans the lands, Whose lifted light searches the heart of all the lands, Enlil who sits broadly on the white dais, on the lofty dais, Who perfects the decrees of power, lordship, and princeship, The earth-gods humble themselves before him..."
These days for an uplifted eye that scans all the lands we might think in terms of a satellite or perhaps a death star.
Notice the distinction between the heavenly gods and the earth gods. St Paul makes the same distinction.
Here also those of 18th may find some interest.
The above apparent technology is used to anchor an esoteric teaching and that is the being who uses the Earth as a body also uses the astral, mental and buddhic levels as a body. Thus that entity perceives, to greater or lesser degree, all discord generated by entities existing within those physical, emotional and mental levels. Hence that Being "sees" all.

I recall one trip from the Highlands to London. I was asleep in the back of the car when an energy change woke me. It was exactly as we crossed the border into England. Even the Lowlands are much wilder than England. Indeed. It might be wild but it is also refreshing. But then again s a Scotsman returning across the border that is to be expected as with any national doing so. What is interesting for me nowadays is that it is also quite comforting going the other way and coming back into England. Both places now fit me like a glove (to be expected having lived in England for about 2.5 decades now). Well Paul I dont know about gold coloured, or indeed above, but I do know that there is a strong and potent energetic flow in the broad inverness area. To me it is strongly in the ground, but I am but a novice at such things. This is quite separate to the much more minor enegry signpost at the foot of Crowlys old place. While it is a place that I will most likely never enter in this lifetime (or again I guess as I dont intend to come back again), there is a piece of me in there Paul, can you see it? I would be less sure Paul, it would not suprise me for a moment, I mean even the public torch parades etc are gathering strength year on year. But there is little to fear from castle rock nowadays. What will be very interesting is should the Scots vote for independence (I have no say being in Engalnd) and remain in the EU (which the SNP [governing political party] fully intend to do), and if England votes to leave the EU (quite likely if our prime minister winds the next election and keeps his promise). Those two acts could catapult Scotland forwards in the global sphere while reducing Engalnds influence considerably. However I am far from convinced that it is in Scotlands best medium term interests to leave the Union at this time.

Try the Tattwa exercise on Blake's eye of the Tyger! What is revealed? It reveals that for any meaningful correspondence to be even remotely feasible the pupil should be red. Otherwise it is just a triangle consistent with a normal feline eye. Was Blake aware of Tattwa Shuddhi?

I was more interested in the actual experience. How did you go?
>Was Blake aware of Tattwa Shuddhi?
He tells us that he had a great number of visions. Perhaps he connected directly to reality without the use of teaching aids.

Smithee
Do you think that personal attacks add credibility to your cause?
For many beings Reality extends beyond the physical. Just observe a cat indoors. Quite often the cat looks with great interest at things that most humans cannot see - sometimes not willing to look away even if distraction is attempted.
Human babies behave similarly.
The Tattwa exercise with the eye of the Tyger can be quite revealing for those that are willing.
Here is some of Blakes's experience:
In what distant deeps or skies Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
Some care may be appropriate for:
what dread grasp Dare its deadly terrors clasp?
