I have hesitated to post this, but I could use testing ideas.
Background
Since the millennium I have had a number of people, from various nations, literally bump into me when out and about, all of whom were clearly trying to understand me or asking if I would do certain pieces of esoteric work, which I have always refused.
In the past week I have had another. It was a bit unusual in that this Brit claimed to be pro Russia and anti America big time. I was quite shocked at the extremity of their views. But our country is a free country, and while dissent is slowly becoming unlawful, I respect their right to hold whatever views they have.
I have been chewing this over, as their interests in many things are similar to mine (global politics, aliens), and frankly I don’t think that in real life I have met anyone who was as geeky/nerdy as me, though I genuinely don’t get out much, so that might be a flawed perspective.
Now…
1. It is possible they were genuine, end of story. Or
2. It is possible that they had been tasked to see what I thought of Russia and the US (though my views are readily available online).
This morning I began to test this real life encounter, and have provisional results. Interestingly an odd real life encounter decades ago with a Chinese individual comes to mind (even though that was just a chat in the rain while sheltering, though it had odd timing that has always made me wonder).
Just to cover all the bases can anyone, and I mean anyone not just Paul, suggest esoteric tests that I could try to help me refine my provisional results?
It matters, as while I have zero problem with British spooks looking at me, (though I am, hopefully obviously, less at ease with offers from foreigners), I haven’t, I don’t think, ever had such an anti American approach, which quite frankly disturbed me. Sure I think that the U.S. has done some bad things eg Gitmo, rendition, torture, but this persons views were on a whole new level. To the degree if British spooks read this, they should very easily be able to identify the individual and check (assuming obviously that British spooks didn’t ask him to talk to me).
