As I recall JFK was not keen on wars. Too bad for him!
I saw a prediction that Trump will be assassinated if he looks like winning.
Is war the most important US industry?

I think the previous US agendas are changing.. the foundation is being laid to do so. It just depends what way that swings. Rump would become a martyr if they did. He is recorded saying he is the chosen one.. his followers believe it. I would say anti-christ if anything but feels like even that is too much credit.

>I would say anti-christ I am not sure the religious binaries are particularly useful True.. just fitting given the Maga culture. I will say he is a extremely successful con-man. Although currently he is facing 900 years worth of charges against him.. so maybe not. I wonder why he might want the distraction? Is the religious attachments connected to propaganda on other movements globally? He had those lil fingers in some perty nasty pots..

Noise in the intelligence community is pointing toward joint efforts against installations of democracy. An example intelligence provided for Gaza seige provided by Russia. Intelligence provided to Russia by tRump/Maga movement. Day of Gaza attack, Russia attacked Ukraine over 50 times that day. China suspected to invade Taiwan soon. Guatemala and other south American areas in a deep struggle with cartels. Nothing is coincidence.. Sammy, can I play devils advocate for a moment? 1. How exactly do you hear noice in the intelligence community? Over here it’s as tight as a ducks @rse. I also think that if over here you accidentally came into possession of such things you would be thumped with the Official Secrets Act. Are you the next Snowden or Manning? 2. From what’s in the press, Russia does indeed like to play games, as does I would guess most intelligence agencies, depending on who is in charge at the time. 3. Iirc China has openly said that it will recover Taiwan by force if necessary. 2035? Is a key date iirc, by which it might want it done. 4. Cartels have been a major issue in Central America for a long long time. My point Sammy, while I agree with you at a conceptual level (mostly….nothing is coincidence…but coincidence does happen a lot in life), there is quite a backstory to each of the above events. They are now new, and in my view unconnected. But I could be wrong. Sorry for such a hard post Sammy. If you want a connection, of sorts, the US focus is now split a third way (Ukraine, Taiwan and Israel). But it’s forces are large enough to cope.

If the physical world is an effect rather than a cause - what are the non-physical causes?
If only most Earth humans could control their emotions.

If the physical world is an effect rather than a cause - what are the non-physical causes? If only most Earth humans could control their emotions. But that’s a life learning experience! I do agree. Nowadays about the only thing that destroys me emotionally (and it really does destroy me) is when my adult daughter goes on one of her rants in my face. Sadly she seems to enjoy doing it. Fortunately not that often. I increasingly agree with you Paul that the world is an effect rather than a cause, and hence can be altered in non physical ways. However a lot of good work could be done at the physical level. It’s just a pity that traditional sources seem to have retired and lost it, leaving the optimal contributor to be wealth. If money could be used to do good en mass, huge changes could be seen, in a managed non fracturing way, that raises everyone up. Pity that it’s so addictive, and there are say do gaps (eg corporate social responsibility, stakeholders v profits etc).

For those with funny ideas I am in no intelligence circles.. also if intel sources are being identified that community is perty much toast. I should have said allegedly.. My own findings support suspicious activity behind the scenes. Yes.. USA sure does love to capitalize off the suffering and labor of others. Perhaps one day democrats could work for democracy instead.. *shrug*

Palestine does not have a military. The terrorist group Hamas contains between 30,000 and 40,000 fighters, but only a few hundred are believed to have received proper training. Hamas does not have an air force or any naval power. In contrast, Israel has one of the most advanced defense forces in the world.
International Institute for Strategic Studies’ (IISS) Military Balance 2023 states that Israel has 169,500 active duty military members, with another 465,000 in the reserve forces. Every adult in the nation has received proper basic military training. Israel has over 2,000 main battle tanks and 615 heavy infantry fighting vehicles, while Hamas currently has 0.
Their impressive air force has 196 F-16 fighter planes, 83 F-15, 36 F-35, 140 military helicopters, and 43 Apache attack helicopters. They also have five submarines and 49 warships. ...and, most importantly, nuclear weapons.
....
The US sent two carriers to an enemy that has no carriers or aircraft aside from some paragliders who have managed to bypass the Iron Dome. ...
We are preparing for World War III. www.armstrongeconomics.com/world-news/war/israel-v-palestine-military-power/At a deeper level: Israel is heavily supported by the US etc to afford such a powerful military force. Is that just religious? I once read that the US owes Israel for using advanced technology to protect the US

We are preparing for World War III. 13 seconds in…..I’m shocked, shocked I tell you…. youtu.be/SjbPi00k_ME?si=HiZXYWRV7wsENFEtRe the Iron Dome and Paragliders: 1. The sheer number of Hamas rockets simply overwhelmed (ie more rockets fired than the air on Dome has to defend) the Iron Dome. 2. Drones took out key autonomous sensors. 3. It is speculated that North Korea might have trained Hamas in how to use paragliders. Apparently NK has a strong paraglider troop. Remember also that: 1. Hamas pulled the wool over the eyes of Shin Bet. (Israeli domestic intelligence), and 2. Presumably also US intelligence. 3. That must worry spooks.

>Hamas pulled the wool over the eyes of Shin Bet. That is the official version But who believes that all the fancy hi-tech devices on the border detected nothing? Why did the Israelis wait many hours before retaliating? It was a Saturday and a national holiday. Drones took out high tech devices. Though I give you that must have looked suspicious to someone in a control room somewhere. The head of Shin Bet iirc has resigned over it.

One of the problems with the land of Israel is that after WW2 it was given to European Jews who were largely Ashkenazi - culturally rather than ethnically Jewish. They had very little connection with the land they were given. "The analysis revealed two distinct subgroups within the remains: one with greater Middle Eastern ancestry, which may represent Jews with origins in Western Germany, and another with greater Eastern and Central European ancestry. The modern Ashkenazi population formed as a mix of these groups and absorbed little to no outside genetic influences over the 600 years that followed, the authors said." hms.harvard.edu/news/ancient-dna-provides-new-insights-ashkenazi-jewish-historyThis problem will not be solved easily

Armstrong has an AI model that automatically analyses more than a thousand data streams from across the world. On occasion it has predicted major stock market turns to the exact day, 30 years ahead. Here is the model's prediction for the US. Armstrong expects the US to break up into regions about 2032 "Americans will be required to obtain a Visa to travel to Europe next year. Travel will become increasingly hard as totalitarian governments restrict access to free movement." www.armstrongeconomics.com/

Quote from Armstrong economics, not Paul who was just himself quoting it. "Americans will be required to obtain a Visa to travel to Europe next year. Travel will become increasingly hard as totalitarian governments restrict access to free movement." As will us Brits. Though it isn’t a visa as such, it’s the same thing that the US have for many years insisted we use, a sort of visa free pre authorisation. That you pay for. If screened out you need a proper visa. It was always one sided in favour of the US, this is just equalising it. Frankly Paul, The EU has as much right to refuse entry to US citizens as the U.S. has to refuse entry to EU citizens. True global visa free travel is a worthy ideal, but realistically it isn’t going to happen any time soon. After it it would take all nations to share criminal records, etc. The EU are hardly totalitarian.

When I first traveled the world I was permitted to vote in any British Commonwealth country.
It seems that global citizenship has receded since then

When I first traveled the world I was permitted to vote in any British Commonwealth country. It seems that global citizenship has receded since then In the context of The British Commonwealth yes, as it has declined. And yes when compared to a century or so ago pre passports. But in the context quoted it is just an equalisation between the US and the EU.
