"So one more trick here I think that will be helpful for developing the intuition as well is use the technique to go to a still point which is you sort of roll your eyes up as though they can now look inside your head, towards the center of the head. So almost like you’re cross-eyed and looking to the center, then declare “I AM” or you can say “God is” or anything that you want to play with, and then wait for a little click or shift in the consciousness that moves you to the still point. It’s very brief. It’s a very quick exercise. "
> I started to rock back and forth very gently... nice! Noticed that the longer I did it the faster and narrower the rocking became. Internal colours changed from a dark red centred blue to black space.
No clicks as I said, but I guess the rocking could indicate a change in consciousness.
Whenever I concentrate on a singularity while in a sitting position I tend to start doing that. In this particular instance I did notice the rocking seemed to reduce in movement and became more rapid until it seemed to me that the rocking and heartbeat become one (while still to-ing and fro-ing).
Re colours - have no idea. I could not reproduce them at later attempts.
I actually prefer my technique for accessing intuition, which is mentally transferring the consciousness towards the back of the head and behind the pineal gland. I then use the pineal as a spy glass to look out of the physical eyes (which are closed ).
>transferring the consciousness towards the back of the head and behind the pineal gland. I then use the pineal as a spy glass
It turns out that I do not look out much on that level. I seem to use the heart level for my looking.

When we lift in consciousness far enough we go beyond the limits of our inner faculties and hence all looks black. Later when we get used to that level (accumulate light body substance and form it into a sense organ) then our vision is flooded with light.
As our new sense organ is developed we are able to distinguish colours and then shapes and eventually we can act coherently on that level.

.. will give the heart level a try ... thanks.

Just a thought, but ... if I can only discern the black at a 'lower' level, is there any point in trying to 'see' at a 'higher' level ?
A good question. The more time we spend at higher levels the more competent we become at those levels, and depending on the activities, the more light body substance we accumulate on those levels.
From this we may deduce that no time attuning to higher levels is wasted, but progress may be more efficient if there is a systematic approach - as veiled by Jacob's Ladder

Why did the rocking change?
Why did the colours change?
I am reminded of the practice of shokeling common among Jews when at prayer. It is similar to shaking or making short bows to accentuate the meaning of individual words or phases, the practice going back as far as the 8th century. Sometimes the shokel is made side to side.
Rabbis likened the movement to a flickering flame, attempting to escape from the wick or the soul trying to reach the heavenly realms. Rationalizations rose after the fact, suggesting this is an exercise of the body while the mind is busy at prayer. At the very least it is viewed as an aid to concentration and prayer.

As far as I can tell it is more about moving the energy body horizontally across the subplane material to stimulate the relevant chakras. When I do it now I can feel the effect in 4.3 to 4.1 - the upper subplanes of the heart chakra
