Here is an interesting one... and this .. These are not for shepherds. Both look Celtic or Nordic.

The two photos you say might be Celtic or Nordic are actually Bishop's Crooks.

... and here we have Hermes, Mercury, the Messenger of the Gods holding the tools of his trade ... another "Idiot's Guide" for those that can read the clues. Are there wings at the top or your lodge's wands? No, they are topped with the emblems of the various offices.

The two photos you say might be Celtic or Nordic are actually Bishop's Crooks. Quite so but they do not look like crooks - no room for a sheep's neck - why not? Here is a modern crook

My crook back Spine and Brain cavity = crook Spine = 33 bones Spine Energy flow = 3 Principal Officers, Ida, Pingala, Sushumna Spine base = Square Spine at heart level = Seal of Solomon - Star of David Crown = Rainbow of the Covenent, Crown of Solomon So - individualised man starts life here in this body subject to the 4 dimensions, 4 directions, 4 elements etc. As s/he evolves a perfect balance or the active/passive principles is attained, this is symbolised by the Seal of Solomon/Star of David. Eventually.... as we raise our vibrations/energies/keynote (?) to the crown - immortality is achieved, and as long as one stops in the physical body one retains a non-dual consciousness. Pleasure and pain, honours and humiliation no longer trouble us. We acquire our own halo's so as to speak. The FPoF symbolizes this non-dual consciousness?

>The FPoF symbolizes this non-dual consciousness?
It may be better to think in terms of creating a circuit for energy flows.

My experience is that the connecting points symbolised in the FPoF may be active in other paired activity in human society.

I once had a tranformative encounter with relation to a masonic symbol. Lucid dream (?) - theatre dressing room. I am an actor preparing to play a role. Sitting on a bench, encouraging me for the part is a male. Just as I was about to depart for the stage he jumped down from the bench stood beside me. He put out his arm and we met elbow to elbow, palm to palm - effectively forming a tau between us. All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players: They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts, His acts being seven ages Whenever I see the Tau or use it, I think of that significant other (or was it part of Me?) I always feel encouraged when recalling that experience.

A good example of paired activity.

It does look like Pope John Paul II. The origin of the pastoral staff, known as the crosier, is doubtful, although some sources say that it represents an shepherd's crook. Other experts see its origin in the lituus, the rod used by Roman seers to mark out the heavens as an aid in formulating their predictions. In either case ornamentation varied through time, sometimes resembling the pineal gland perhaps and other times quite plain.

"The lituus was a crooked wand (similar in shape to the top part of a crosier) used as a cult instrument in ancient Roman religion by augurs to mark out a ritual space in the sky (a templum)" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LituusIn Masonry we refer to the temple in the sky (celestial mansion) and when opening and closing mark it by reference to the Sun.

If we may mention encounters with elementals I can recall two that happened before I was 12 years of age. The first woke me up with the feeling that the bed was moving. I could see at the bottom of the bed a figure that looked young but gave the impression of someone very old. The only sound I heard was the flapping of the sole of his shoe which evidently became loose.
The other meeting happened when I was exploring an abandoned factory, which was closed for the duration of WWII. I was in a sub sub-basement when a figure emerged from the wall and said, "what are you doing down here?" and then disappeared. And so did I.
I think those experiences started my reading of occult books and put my on the path I've taken the rest of my life.

If someone had come out of from a wall and spoke to me I know exactly what I would do... freeze, think ooo-kaaay, then run like the heck out of there. LOL Though I was instructed in one of my odd experiences that all I had to do if I felt very threatened was to raise my right hand, point it at the aggressor and they would depart. (I wonder if one points one's r.h. over one's left shoulder as one is running away if it would still work )

When you visualise such a scene then enter into it and point your right hand at the aggressor, what do you see?

When I was given the instruction and followed the directions, whatever was in the dark passageway was disintergrated in a fiery burst. Even I jumped.

What happens when you re-enter the scene and observe the energy flows associated with your right hand? What is the energy? From where does it come?
