Paul, the mysteries are great enough without introducing something that is explained as such an elementary level. If a human was 9- feet tall he would make a hammer that fit hand. That hammer would survive better than any fossil. Are those findings available.
Why is there a need, or a desire, to have some thing super magical. Is not life enough?

"Your belief in God is merely an escape from your monotonous, stupid and cruel life." ..maybe he was describing his own life. Methinks he might know differently now. Q. Is your life monotonous, stupid and cruel? Have to say that life can be cruel. But many are the NDE's and godly seers and prophets of the past (we won't mention present) who have caught a brief glimpse of WHAT IS and WHY - who are joyous of the perfect Plan. I've always been a glass half full sort of person. I'm going with Hope and Joy. If I'm wrong, I will still have been happier than those that 'knew better'. Win/win.

Paul, the mysteries are great enough without introducing something that is explained as such an elementary level Given that the Tree of Life is embedded in the human fingers, I would not be surprised if other profundities are also to be found in the human hand.

It is not established that the Tree of Life is embedded in the human fingers. It has been speculated that it is but that is not same as "it is."

God made everybody; when He did, he gave us five fingers on each hand and on each foot to teach us that we wouldn't have much balance or be able to do much at all without Him in our lives. True, sometimes people think that they can have success and find accomplishments in life without God and yes, it's absolutely true that they can make and do incredible things without acknowledging God or making Him their Lord in their lives; however, I think that kind of life has no "real" purpose and is an empty existence.
I'd hate to wake up one day and say to myself "I've accomplished all this--but for what?"

Was God responsible for our poorly engineered knee, women having their uterus situated that the weight of a child is placed on the bladder, myopia, male pattern baldness, the appendix etc?

RE male pattern baldness... it is because you are all such good boys and mother keeps patting you on the head

Why do we think that God has finished his/her (being 2 faced) process of unfoldment? Perhaps there are yet imperfections in the nature of matter and indeed in some of the kingdoms that are organs in the Divine Man.

How many fingers? Plus a thumb?

Why do humans have five fingers and toes? Here are some thoughts, be them true or false, that may relate to the question:
- We live in a fractal universe where everything is representative of greater and lesser things. All divides away and unites towards. We are ourselves part of that arrangement/gradient/manifest/dynamic.
- Left and right / female and male, is primal force split vertically down the middle, forever destined to seek unity, each to strive to understand the force/energy/qualities/role of itself and of the other, to error and succeed, to conflict and cooperate, and thereby to drive, to persevere, never completed, always moving on. And together with the horizontal divisions of force.
- Note the relationship of the centres in the palms to the bodily centres. The palm centre is their amalgamation, all of them combined, as they are; their expression and their energising/activation/stirring. And their energies qualitatively divided left and right into each palm.
- After their amalgamation and processing in the palm centres, the fingers divide those energies again.
- Each finger a representative/expression/activation of an energy from the bodily centres, processed, made suitable for the hand.
- The fingers and regions of the hand and their combinations in use, are symbolic/representative of the divisions of energies and forces that we use. Active, supportive, spatial, tactile, heart, forward, backup, press, pull, pat, stroke, and so on.
- The hand is symbolic of what we do, not who we are or where we are.
- The feet are symbolic of where we are, not who we are or what we do.
- Of course there is overlap and inter-cooperation, for we can only do where we are, and must go there to do it.
- Neither hand nor foot are symbolic of who we are, except in their lacking, as is our lacking.
- We are each like a pseudopod.
- And in that sense both granted and lacking.
- And our hands are similarly both granted and lacking in respect to our self.
- Within the hand is a part of every part of us, the doing part.
- As within the foot is a part of every part of us, the standing part.
- These parts are types of energies, but also material structures representing and manifesting energies.
- But the hand and the foot have no freewill from us, just reflex and obedience. Though everything else of us they have, can express and sympathise with.
- For their awareness is part of ours, though our awareness is not part of theirs. We know them, they don't know us, yet everything they do, they do from us.
- Each joint is a separation, barrier, gateway, centre, and correlation with another above, below and across.
- The hands create what we do.
- All that manifests out from us comes from where we stand and through what we do and say.
- The hands come from the throat, as the legs come from the sacrum.
- The feet limit what the hands can do, as the energies of the sacrum limit those of the throat.
- The feet are more automated than the hands, following the intention of the hands, as the energies of the sacrum adjust to suit the energies of the throat.
- The hands are creative, in that (together with the voice) they manifest what we do, what comes from us.
- Hexagram comes after/from pentagram, comes after/from square, comes after/from triangle, comes after/from circle.
- Cross comes from circle quartered horizontally and vertically.
- Cross leaves circle, into square. Freewill, amongst four elements. Free to create, in thought and familiar matter.
- All such creations have five elements. Four of nature and of form, and one of animation. All come after/from the cross within the square, are pentagrams, pointed upward or downward, for better or worse.

My thought is that it is a trade-off between precision and strength, thus large humanoids (giants) tend to have 6 fingers (5+thumb) (although the above image seems to show 6+thumb) so that fingers are capable of precision work and small humanoids tend to have 4 fingers so that the fingers are strong enough. Just a matter of practicality?

Thanks for your 29 thoughts on this crossbow, I share your view on this.
Would you say a bit more on "The hands come from the throat, as the legs come from the sacrum"? I have not considered the esoteric meaning of this before.
Also what do you think of the finger joints in regards to the four fingers representing the four elements?

Thanks for your 29 thoughts on this crossbow, I share your view on this. Would you say a bit more on "The hands come from the throat, as the legs come from the sacrum"? I have not considered the esoteric meaning of this before. Also what do you think of the finger joints in regards to the four fingers representing the four elements? 1. Every part and function in the body is a manifest of a part and function in the soul.
2. The centres are places where the soul and body, and the layers in-between with all their energies, intermesh with each other.
3. Each centre is a focus place for particular energies.
4. The sacral centre and the throat centre are focus places for related but different energies.
5. These energies are magnetic/creative energies. They flow from the screen of imagination, to attract matter to them, to manifest physically and externally the same as they are created mentally.
6. They end up housed in material form just like their imaginative blueprint.
7. Creativity is the manifestation of imagination.
8. Those energies from imagination that are selfless, helpful to others, good, beautiful, true, and are compatible with heart, flow down and outward through the throat.
9. Those energies that are selfish, carnal, unhelpful, cruel, mean, exploitative, temporary, and are compatible with falsity and illusion, flow down and outward through the sacral centre.
10. There is an energetic junction where they separate in the throat centre. The junction is replicated physical by the epiglottis, which separates what air that goes to the lungs/heart and food and water that goes to the stomach/bowels.
11. The condition of the sacral centre is the limit of the throat centre. But exercising the throat centre while depriving, subduing or subjecting the sacral energies to dissolution moves the sacral centre into cooperation with the throat centre.
12. This is why we are where we stand but we go to where we want to do. And why the legs follow what we want to do and also limit what we can do, by not being in proximity.
13. The hands are fast, can move in a blur, faster than the eye can follow, but to touch something which is a step away, then they can touch it no faster than the legs can step there, which is far slower that the movement of the hands.
14. The speed or the hand, though faster than the eye, is limited by the slowness of the step. Speed is energy. But to touch it, one does not have to think to step, only think to touch it, and the legs will follow the intention of the hands.
15. Every organ and every part and function of the body, replicates and follows the parts and functions of the soul.
Re. the finger joints and elements.
16. There are not just the centres down the midline of the body. There are lesser centres all over the body, every joint, muscle, bone, organ, tissue, right down to the nerves and cells.
17. The elements are contained within every centre, and every part of the body and all the layers and energies between body and soul, and in everything that exists.
18. Some elements carry more sway or focus in certain places than do others, like fire in heart and water in emotion.
19. Don't let anyone spoon feed you too much.
Study your own fingers. Note what they do and what they are concerned with. Feel/sense/attune with their energies and read them. Back track the energy. What is it? where does it come from?

In my right hand I find the Tree of Life in the first 3 fingers with the joints being the sephiroth, including Daat at the top joint of the middle finger.

This is something I intend to work on at this time, can anyone advise any practices that might help to achieve this?
