Some years ago I was conducting a workshop and we went to the top of a small hill with energy connections. I pointed out to the participants where a sea god was (non-physically) standing some distance out to sea. One of the women saw the sea god and immediately burst into tears as she realised that it was a cyclops. I had not perceived that connection but of course when I looked it up online, one of the children of Poseidon is recorded as a cyclops. (I am not sure why she had such a strong connection to cyclops - but it rather looks like a past life relationship) The sea gods protect some of the mysteries of initiation. Consider for example The Sea Priestess by Fortune www.amazon.com/Sea-Priestess-Dion-Fortune/dp/0877284245

Paul
1. The Inverness area not only draws me like a magnet, and has done so since childhood when I used to cycle across Scotland to get there, but once I am there I feel so at home. Though the graveyard at the roadside beside (what I now know was Crowleys house) was the point at which my energy was disturbed so much during the marathon that I had real trouble running (but I was also running ill to start with, but it was passing that graveyard that I was paused for thought and simply knew that I had to remember that moment).
2. Swans. I have a good relationship with Swans. On one occassion I had the gift of a pair of Swans bringing their signets over to me and my family for food and after a while mum and dad let their children sleep around us, including one sleeping on my foot. After a while of mum and dad standing guard for intruders they also relaxed and seemed to sleep. It was a wonderful hour or two as mum and dad put their trust in us. As an aside whenever I pass the gates of Bleinheim I tend to look up to the swans wrought in the iron gates with a warm glow.
Facinating area to have explored over the years.

I always found Inverness a bit uncomfortable and it was worst about half way along Loch Ness. Underneath Loch Ness are parked some large dark entities with the engines idling and deeper still is a field of strong light.
I dare say Crowley was attracted by that light-dark structure.

I always found Inverness a bit uncomfortable Never found that myself Paul, to me it is a bit of a beacon. I always look down at the Loch and smile. Well as you know this where Crowleys old house is and where I was forced to pause for thought. But except for that one moment on that one single occasion I have never felt anything negative about the Loch. But as my senses become more refined you never know in the future. If I do I will let you know. It would be natural for darkness to try to prevent the light from shining, in individuals (most easily sensed between desire to steal and knowing it is wrong or less accurately but more visually - wanting to ask someone out on a date but fearing rejection), in organisations (just look at the masonic world and how some masons behave), in nations, as well as at locations. hence it would not surprise me at all for this to be the case Paul, and in fact I would be surprised if it weren't. And it is not necessarily a bad thing in terms of balance.

I am surprised that no one has suggested Arthur. There is a whole collection of mythology related to Arthur including Grail, Knights Templar and Unicorn. I would suggest that the poem Jerusalem is not at all Christian and may well be about Arthur: "bring me my bow of burning gold, bring me my arrows of desire.." www.progressiveliving.org/william_blake_poetry_jerusalem.htm

I am surprised that no one has suggested Arthur. There is a whole collection of mythology related to Arthur including Grail, Knights Templar and Unicorn. Dragons Hill in Oxfordshire England is where reputedly Arthur slayed the Dragon. (I feel sorry for the Dragon, much preferring the Chinese view of dragons posessing wisdom) Anyhow Dragons Hill is a place that not only brings me comfort but which I have enjoyed a brilliant muddy afternoon with my children. For those who dont know Dragons Hill really is just a small "mound" half way up a big hill, with a wonderfully steep valley, a white horse and old fort at the top, just off an ancient road (which again I have found to be a very comfortng place to walk). The modern day road up the hill, past dragons hill is an absolute **** to cycle up though. Fun on the descents though ;D (assuming no cars are coming for you could easily end up taking flying lessons) My local MP (politician) even talked about dragons hill and the slaying of the dragon in his opening speech introducing himself to our government when he was first elected. Hence it certainly catches the imagination of some.

How about the phoenix? This appears as a "mythical sacred firebird that can be found in the mythologies of the Arabian, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, Chinese, Indian and (according to Sanchuniathon) Phoenicians." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phoenix_%28mythology%29In my experience the mallard drake is related by energy to the phoenix. This is reflected in the green and blue combination.

There is an energy experiment that can be done with the image of the mallard.
Look (inwardly) at the image for an almost vertical stream of blue-green energy that J curves towards the duck. What is that?

Can't see it myself. Will try again later.

The experiment is a bit difficult but well worthwhile even if only partly successful. The J is behind the duck

It is a photograph. Please just state which pixels you mean.

Smithee, this is an inner experiment. Try meditating for a while and then project into the scene of the photo.

So, this isn't just a case of joining the right dots in the right order and seeing a pattern which is somehow actually represented in the photograph.
Pray tell, has anyone else ever been able to see what you have "seen" in any of these "experiments" (I cannot recall any over the years in which we have crossed our on-line paths)?

Tamrin
As you may know, group light bodies are used to facilitate inner work including accentuated ability to use the senses on the inner planes.
There are preconditions for joining an existing group light body, one of which is paralleled in the Masonic requirement that a brother is not to enter a lodge where there is a brother with whom he (or she) is not in harmony.

A "phoenix" arrived the other day - formed from the blue and green flows of the GAOTU. It made a strong connection to one of my friends and she has been noticeably cheerful ever since.

Last night the Phoenix was here again and for the first time I saw the heart of the Phoenix, and it is a doorway. So this morning I looked on Google for "heart of the phoenix" and find it is part of some computer game and used as the title of some romantic book but I also found someone's vision at Glastonbury: "The Tor is no longer visible in its physical form. There is simply a void of stars in which shine the outline shape of a great phoenix. Within it is the golden form of a maze, a brain, the morphogenetic field pattern for the embryogenesis of the world sensorium. It is resonating and communicating with the sun behind the sun. Ursa Major’s seven stars appear through the maze heart of the phoenix for a brief moment." www.paulwestonglastonbury.com/Ursa Major (the Great Bear) may well be closely related to the heart of the Phoenix and of course a maze traditionally is a doorway to a greater reality. And the seer above sees the connection between the Tor (and the Phoenix) and the sun behind the sun.

The Phoenix is paying attention to some on this board.
Meditate for a while placing the attention in the top of the head. Then look out from there in front and a little above. See if you can see a bird with iridescent blue and green, looking at you.
