Forget-me-nots bloom like early spring when young buds ring the sound of new birth- turning wheels of old ways to new space the sacred realm- the new heart and pyramid of love.
Forget-me-nots bloom blue as the eye of the sky where birds dwell and sing call and ring to boundless ends. So long as God sends love that bends.... the circle and the square are ever there in brightness fair.
Summer's gone.... the last bloom is long and reaching far. Forget-me-not I am the song and rising star.

Distant peaks emerge....clear as day. The hermit's lantern turns to guide the way. Hermit's Way - F. J. Rogers
"In early 1934, it became evident that Freemasonry was in danger. In that same year, the Grand Lodge of the Sun (one of the pre-war German Grand Lodges, located in Bayreuth) realising the grave dangers involved, adopted the little blue Forget Me Not flower as a substitute for the traditional square and compasses."
