But I am a bit wary about practising the methods he proposes - both the elemental and the qabalistic. I am not sure that such an immersion in the elements is appropriate for most humans in this cycle. It seems to me that now the emphasis is upon right relationship and resolving past errors.
And with the Qabalah, while there is much to learn and I do observe the Tree of Life in various landscapes, the practical methods seem to me to draw the practitioner into an old energy field.
Thus any teaching structure tends to be embedded in the larger field of its sponsoring intelligence. Choice of sponsors is of great importance.
Here is a version of the Tree of Life on North America but it does not seem a particularly accurate assignment. Still I am interested that people are looking to apply the Tree to the landscape.
I was contemplating a particular Tree of Life this morning and noticing its branch structure and it occurred to me that trees should have flowers and therefore scent. And I recalled making a thread called The Scent of Life.
But I am reminded that Indians purify surroundings with burning sage (?). You have made me wonder now whether is is the sage or the smell of it that does the work.
And what about incense... I believe that one can alter the results by the choice of incense combinations.
