... Sammy's New Symbol thread made me think of our old symbols. Three versions of the one, what rings true to you when you view them. Please feel free to add other images on the same theme.

Hmm this is odd. I have also a theory on the growth of shapes. With this as its beginning.
A point: no sides but a starting position.
1 side: circle, 1 continual side.
2 sides: a line as this "|".
3 sides: triangle
etc...

You got me thinking about an issue I was having with the mathematics of the shape and angle growth. But your thread got the wheel turning, and I finally figured it out! Thank you!! It does the Fibanacci sequence.

Put this together to better show what I meant.

So going by the definitions we have been discussing with shapes. I had mentioned that it could be said any shape exists within a circle.
So for all of this to begin you start at the point (starting position).
Then step two is the end, all encompassing circle.
From here it could be filled with a infinite amount of any sided shapes. Or rather it could house any number of sides or even a infinite sided shape.
So the me the circle with a point, is the beginning and the end to eternity.

I think you have about cleared me out on theories and diagrams Lorrb! HAHA Seriously I have two I havnt used and one is related to -0+. I had even been wondering if you were doing it on purpose! Cause seriously just about every thread you started I had something about it. I know you weren't but that's how accurate you have been in line with my work. So basically Im saying sorry for always flooding your threads

>So basically Im saying sorry for always flooding your threads I used to live in a large spiritual community and we had a lot of new members coming in. These people had been starved of people to talk to, so we used to put them in a 3 month orientation program where they spent half of each day in work departments and the other half in structured sessions talking to each other. Feel free to flood.

HAHA thanks.
Its not I don't have people to talk to about all this. I just don't have anyone to talk to that actually gets it and will look for the next step. My wife gets it but she doesn't like to go too far with these things. Mostly I just feel like im bugging her if I bring anything up. To which I think, "try having it constantly on your mind". She has been taking more interest now that she believes in the law of attraction though.

I like your wife - seems to me you are ideally suited. Hmmn ... your next challenge ... What do you make of this symbol?

Nothing very deep off the bat. A 4 way T, maybe the entirety of truth. Regardless the degree of perception, this is the truth of what happened. Like a recording of someone making a really hard shot, the video is solid in its truth and ability to convey it.
I tried this on a blank square. I started from birds eye view and then the view shifted to the side, and it started to grow up and down in both direction. Kinda reminded me of one of those snake fireworks that grow when lit.

Video can be manipulated though, so atleast one side isn't a full T. Maybe this is a different eternal, and un-corruptible type of recording.

I had been thinking some more about the growing shape, I also didn't mention I saw it made out of stone. Maybe I just didn't realize it till now. But it went straight up and down, like a solid line but still maintaining the symbols shape.
This brought back to mind the string and cans theory you had Lorr

The dividing line... A kind of buffer maybe? Similar to how our mind is a buffer for spiritual energy, filtering the pertinent data.

The yin and yang was actually one of my first symbols I used for my theory. Because it has both black and white, as well as a hint of motion.
I think you are right though, the buffer is needed for now (maybe till the last day). Same shape as the serpent too.
The serpent is our buffer? Any correlated background on the serpent symbol in this way?

Firstly, try to understand there is a shadow of belief with me in these discussions. Mostly I try to follow the clues and/or reasoning to best associate something, and see how it matches up to proven facts.
The shadow of belief I hold is that all these discussions we are having, were the same ones being held in the time of creation of its symbols. Or atleast trying to figure out the best I can. A kind of "how did they do it" type of outlook. The thing is though... A lot of it has come to be matching scientific findings and others of physics and astronomy.
Starting with every race worldwide has some kind of belief in a unseen force or energy. Different names but same in effect.
I don't think that it was all explainable in scientific terms, but that science has began to explain how those events occur. Much like a really hard math test, knowing the answers doesn't teach the student how to solve the problems.

I have heard of the story never knew the story itself! Very insightful for sure!
This doesn't resolve the current issue though. How does the enlightened one get the ones still in the cave to journey outward?

True but something had lead us to the path. The enlightened one was lead out by the captors. Now the enlightened one has the job of doing the same for the other prisoners, the difference being it will have to be the prisoners choice to do so this time. So how do you get the prisoners into wanting to see the light that will lead them on the path outward? I know the path is walked alone, but many people will give directions and guidance (student-teacher). I love those books BTW! Still some of my favorite reads!

Plato's allegory of The CaveI remember when you posted on The Cave foxfires, I loved it. We actually spent a night on it at a lodge meeting. So your efforts were rewarded in ways unseen to you. The link above is worth the read for those unfamiliar with the work.
