Clearly if supermarkets charge premium prices for biodynamic products e.g. yoghurt, then the punters buying the biodynamic yoghurt have a high regard for biodynamic producers. It seems you can provide no specific reputable person who regards the pseudoscience well. Credulous people have long been ripped off by dowsers, homeopaths and side-show conmen.

Oddly enough this thread is about exorcism. It is worth a try.

Oddly enough this thread is about exorcism. It is worth a try. It was YOU who raised the pseudoscience of Biodynamics. It is NOT worth a try.

It is always disappointing to follow these threads to nowhere. Wouldn't it be wiser to keep an eye on the greatest prize and not dwell on anything less? Biodynamics may be hokum, or not. We bother ourselves with particulars and fail to see that ultimately it is all illusion. We can use Biodynamics "as if" it had validity, or not. We probably should reach for the ring and forget getting involved in the circular ride.

So has any of us had experience with exorcism (deliberate displacement of unwanted entities)? Personally I am more interested in balancing energies Paul. But yes would be the answer, though I tend to see it simply as darker energies. My approach is rather different to Baldwins and in no way could you call it exorcism as people typically understand it. The way that I look at it - we all have good and bad within us, and balance is the key. Probably purely coincidental but I have watched someone be physically sick while an exorcism was being performed in a Hollywood movie at the cinema. [probably ate too many sweets]

I have read that the filming of The Exorcist was accompanied by strange events and accidents and that early screenings seemed to produce a range of possession-like symptoms in the audiences.

Mark 9
38And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us. 39But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me. 40For he that is not against us is on our part.
It seems that casting out devils is not an uncommon skill.

Do you believe this or is it a part of the V.S.L. you choose to reject because it does not suit your purposes?

I have no reason to believe or disbelieve. I quoted it to demonstrate that exorcism as a concept has a longish history.

Actually this is more a thread for those interested in the practice of exorcism.
We could have another thread for those who believe that exorcism does not work because there is nothing to exorcise.

I prefer to deal with personal experience. And I doubt that any human has been entirely free of such matters even if they believe otherwise.
I don't know what came over me. I should not have said that.

>Do you have any credible evidence?
Credible to whom?
Some have to experience such matters personally. Even then the nature of the situation may make the experience transitory.
I recall a woman who complained to me that she was possessed. She actually saw the possession happening when she was having sex with a rather peculiar man.
Anyway she was concerned that the possessing entity would get her to steal money to buy cigarettes for friends. (Tobacco softens up the prospective hosts.) The point that disturbed her was that 5 minutes after she stole the money she would have already forgotten that she stole it.
Thus possessing entity was editing the memory of the host.
What then is credibility in a humanity that is under attack from darkness in high places? (see St Paul).

Credible to the non-credulous. Credible in terms of rational deliberation. Something more than mere assertion.

In this and other threads you will see many experiences recounted. Often I learn from these.
