The process continues in service to humanity and progresses through further stages to unity.

If the Freemason's temple extends from the center of the Earth to the Heavens, what happens in the Heavens when Freemasons open a lodge?

>Genesis 6:13 ► So God said to Noah, "I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. This seems a later edit of the Sumerian text where Baal (Enlil) decides to destroy the human race because of its excessive noise but one family is rescued by the intervention of Ea who had bred the human race as servants. By the Sumerian account Enlil had 2 previous attempts to destroy the humans - by disease and by famine. Both accounts occur in the Old Testament but modified to suggest that the chosen people were to be spared. faculty.gvsu.edu/websterm/atrahasi.htm

>Matthew 5:5 God blesses those who are humble, for they will inherit the whole earth.
This seems consistent with the Sumerian gods breeding humans as servants - the servants can have the Earth when the gods depart.

The heavenly order aligns with the Freemason's temple which enables communication and interaction.

So, with what is the lodge communicating? Does the lodge have any function to perform?

The Lodge should communicate with and follow the guidance of the inner school as it works in the service of humanity.

>as it works in the service of humanity
If the work of the lodge of MMs is to serve humanity that suggests that humanity has a purpose.

Humanity has the task of fulfilling itself, as divine beings, and evolving beyond ordinary humanity to perfected spiritual humanity, then returning to the G A O T U from which it came. This is completed through service.

>so in a sense if we look at the vector that was defined as the black death plague / famine it attacked with the same vectors that HIV attacks and survivors got
I think you will find if you look at the contemporary accounts of the black death that:
- it spread faster than people traveled - dark figures with rods making hissing sounds were seen outside the towns just before (grim reapers) - a black mist was seen upon towns hours before the black death struck.
Also the black death bacteria (recovered from corpses in crypts) is genetically distant from other bacteria - as if introduced artificially.

It does sound quite suspicious. I think there is something man made about the black death. It didn't begin naturally.

> leave that place and shake the dust off your feet
I rather think that means removing all substance that links you to that place. Dust on the feet is obvious, but if you felt contaminated etherically or emotionally, you might shower or swim to remove that also.
>“To abstain from sin when one can no longer sin is to be forsaken by sin, not to forsake it.”
St Augustine of Hippo apparently regretted not castrating himself as a youth to avoid later sin. Origen is supposed to have castrated himself.
These days we might consider whether there are more profound influences than reproduction driving sexuality.

I would say there are. Self fulfilment and happiness would be one. Some people cannot function properly unless their sexuality is satisfied.

So what are the implications for sexuality if man is the microcosm?

I imagine that sexuality should be utilised on the path to perfection to experience God as an individual and obviously to serve as we must all do in order to attain perfection.

I rather think that if man is the microcosm then there must be a cosmic correspondence to sex. If so, is there a resonance from the cosmos to the microcosm?

I would say you are correct; there is a cosmic correspondence to sex. Sex can be used as a pathway to enlightenment and higher states of consciousness. When a higher states of consciousness is attained through sex there is a two-way resonance between the microcosm and the cosmos.

There are numerous ways of raising one's level of consciousness. All mystery traditions practice this as a means of hastening the evolution of humanity. Once one has set out on the path there is really no turning back.

What means for raising consciousness in pairs?
And is raising consciousness really the object?

Raising consciousness is part of the process of practicing the mysteries. Humanity has to learn much about the world around us, as well as the universe, and above all the self. We are the microcosm and the more we know about ourselves the more we understand the universe.
