In 18th we are told that the cubic stone turned into the mystic rose.

>5 petals related to the pentagram and/or passage of Venus (which some masons equate with the Blazing Star)? It is proper to relate the FPoF to Venus but Venus is not the same as the BS - unless we consider that Venus is properly represented twice on some EA TB. Does one person represent the Earth and one Venus in the FPoF? The Sun is central to the dance, which brings to mind the crown, how is the Sun represented? Light being Word, points of the star indicating Light, so how is a transit of Venus across the Sun represented?

Does one person represent the Earth and one Venus in the FPoF? I have certainly seen that happen but not in the FPoF. In principle it is quite possible with the FPoF

In what context?

The context?

> how is the Sun represented? In what context? >how is a transit of Venus across the Sun represented? The context? I'm thinking of the circumambulation around the altar and how the FPoF fits in with that ritual. The candidate encounters FPoF when travelling three times around 'the wilderness', an uninhabited place, which in Hebrew also means mouth or speech, it brings to mind Moses and the Pentateuch. The Venus transit of the Sun is an occasion of conjunction where Venus occludes light from the Sun, in contrast (inferior?) to the points of Light of the pentagram?

Your ritual is a bit different from those that I know.
In my view the FPoF is quite a late entry into ancient Masonry - maybe 5th century AD. I suspect some Asian influence - almost dance-like Qigong.
The polarity of the FPoF may be more obvious in a male-female pair.
The question of why 5 points rather than 4 or 6 is central, and closely related to your observation about Venus.
The FPoF as expressed in Masonry, are not, in my view, directly related to the Sun, e.g. the Sun is not normally regarded as a fellow for the purpose of Masonry.
One could however, consider the nature of the entity veiled by the planet Venus and it relationship to its brethren in the temple in the heavens. In that case the human brother takes the role of Earth and imitates its relationship to Venus.
>Venus occludes light from the Sun
Thus it is the bright and morning star whose rising brings hope - not only for humanity but also for the Earth.

I can appreciate that statement, but it leaves me confused, as Venus would not be what it is without the Sun.

>Something along these lines?
Certainly the 5 elements are central, but I wonder if there is some further dynamic expressed by the FPoF. For example the FPoF are practiced as a process of engagement.
>Venus would not be what it is without the Sun
If we regard the Solar System as the outer body of a greater entity then Venus is an organ and a lesser being within the greater structure.

In 18th we are told that the cubic stone turned into the mystic rose. Isaac Newton, Royal Society, Freemason? blog.world-mysteries.com/science/the-newton-you-never-knew-isaac-newtons-esotericism-revealed/Good men made better? Building, winding staircase, middle chambers - all in the above. FPoF - might that refer to the five lower chakras, if we are talking at microcosmic level (see middle image above). The FPoF it could be seen as two interlaced tetrahedral-opposite directions-morphic field-strengthening.

>FPoF it could be seen as two interlaced tetrahedral-opposite directions-morphic field-strengthening.
Thus the FPoF forms an interface between the worlds. But who would use such an interface?

>A Type I civilization uses all available resources impinging on its home planet, Type II harnesses all the energy of its star, and Type III of its galaxy. The scale is only hypothetical, but it puts energy consumption in a cosmic perspective.
A few years ago I would have been happy with that, but now I rather suspect that the most evolved civilisations use almost no energy at all. They influence the entities and substances around them to manifest the desired arrangement or outcome. Thus they achieve using close to a net zero energy input.
This is reflected in the human tradition that the best rainmaker does nothing. By being perfectly aligned with Nature, Nature comes into alignment around him and the rain comes in its proper time.

It is certainly possible to categorize a great variety of phenomena and characteristics using the ToL, but whether that adds value is determined largely by who does the categorization.
It may be useful to observe that not only does the ToL fit on the human, it also fits on the landscape at all sorts of scales.

>We are sort of like a glass figurine and they are like a crane trying to lift us with out breaking us
>So some plethora's of information need to be processed before they can find safe lifting points and ways to help us without shattering us
So the lifting up is raising vibrational energy, lift too fast and vibrational shift shatters the glass? Does your analogy explain kundalini raising crises?
From my experience steady rising of frequency is much more bearable, as the ego becomes like a fish out of water, gasping for heavy air. Slow and steady rising makes the shift less perceptible to a grasping ego.
